Fascinating Collection Of Bear Shifters
I must confess before you read any more that I LOVE BEARS and so bear shifter stories are a win win situation for me reading books about them. However, Meg Ripley is a tremendous author who really knows how to create unique and fascinating storylines that are believable and entertaining. This is a fabulous collection that I urge you to get for yourself even if you’re not a bear fan such as myself but simply because it is so well written and will keep you on the edge of your seats wanting to know what is going to happen next and not able to put the book down till you know the hero/heroine is safe and all is well with their world.
Ranger Knox :- Can A Reporter Keep A Secret? 17 September 2017
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Hannah is one industrious and strong minded woman and she just doesn’t want to take her holiday leave from her job as a reporter. But she reluctantly goes to the Acadia National Park and is enjoying the natural beauty all around her when she needs rescuing asap. Her screams are heard by hunky Head Ranger Knox, also Alpha of his clan of bear shifters whose job it is to keep his kind a secret from the world. Knox also knows when he hears the woman’s screams that she should belong to him and is his fated mate. But how is this possible as she isn’t even a shifter of any kind? Also as a reporter he will have to keep his secret from her. Meg Ripley has created the start of a great series in this episode I liked the storyline and the way her characters interacted with one another and can possibly see some of the secondary characters who may end up with their own HEA’s. The writing was fast paced and flowed so that I didn’t realise that I had read so much. Not a book that you will want to put down.
Definitely recommended!
Ranger Trent – Falling For the FBI Agent 4 December 2017
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I discovered Meg Ripley when I read Knox, the alpha of the clan of bear shifters and I loved that story- so entertaining and very well written. Plus I love bear shifters, I love a mystery. I love romance and in this book I get all three. So I know that I’m off to a great start with this story. Trent is the park ranger and bear shifter and he finds the dead body of a minor tv celebrity in the part that looked as if she had been mutilated by a bears claws, He got word to his alpha via Sophie and was told the FBI needed to be called in but to try and track down the shifter that did it. They knew that it wasn’t one of them. Trent followed the paw prints and came across two more dead bodies, the camera crew plus cameras etc. Further on he finds the shifter involved but this is where a puzzling mystery starts. We also get to meet the tough, feisty FBI agent, Blanca Gianni, who notices Trent’s obvious distrust of her and her team but she always gets a case solved and she’s not going to let him spoil her unblemished record. What was wrong with the shifter?? Were there others like him? Could it effect them? And what’s Trent going to do about that FBI agent who is driving him and his bear crazy with lust? beautifully written by Meg with fabulous characters and a storyline that includes the suspense just right. She had my full attention at page one and it continued to the very end. Whilst this is book two of a series, you can easily read and understand it as a standalone book too. A thoroughly entertaining story that I will be re-reading.

Ranger Ramon :- Can She Create An Antidote In Time? 13 January 2018
Verified Purchase
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. In the Acadia National Park, a rogue shifter went on the rampage and brutally murdered three people. He had been infected with a virus that was not natural but did not get apprehended until he had already murdered. Ranger Ramon, bear shifter and a real handsome hunk of manhood, is studying the virus when they get notification that entomologist, Min who used to work for the government in CDC is being transferred to be the Park’s biologist. When Ramon sees Min he and his bear know that she is their ONE and they have plenty of passion exploring their passion together. unfortunately, before Min got there, Ramon was bitten and has contracted the virus. They don’t know how long he has before the virus will take over and he will no longer be Ramon. Min knows that this means she has a much greater investment in finding a solution as she’s in love with him. But not everyone is as they seem and someone who is supposedly a ‘good guy’ is not! Will Min concoct an antidote to save Ramon and bring him back to her? Will the opposing force prevent her from saving him? All will be revealed when you read this book as I did. Min and Ramon are so great together. As he is the only one of the shifters left who is a single guy he was feeling lonely anyway but he will not be the last to get engaged if he can help it! Beautifully written by Meg Ripley in the third book in the series. I have read the first two stories anyway as I love reading Meg’s stories – especially about bear shifters. Whilst this is book 3 in the series, it is perfectly fine to read it as a standalone but I strongly suspect it will then encourage you to read the previous two books as it’s such a great series and so well written. I look forward to Meg’s next story 🙂
P.S. The bonus materials are fantastic and well worth the book price as well!!
