Why Did he Leave Her?
Maya is a film student and going to her best friend’s wedding when it is cancelled. When she arrives she goes to the bar to relax and she is hit on by a handsome man but she isn’t interested as she just wants to relax. her friend offers her the wedding suite that’s been already paid for and so she agrees and is enjoying a shower when the door opens and Aaron, the man who hit on her and she rebuffed, walks in. His best friend was the groom and he offered him the suite as it had been paid for! Aaron, film producer, hasn’t been able to get her out of his mind and they agree to pretend to be married so that they get all the benefits of the bridal suite. But she says there is to be no ‘hanky panky’! But lust/passion and love get in the way and they end up in bed as the steam heat between them is sizzling and off the charts. The day after taking her v-card he leaves without a word and she is heartbroken. Why did he leave? What will Maya do? Did the time together mean nothing to him?? This is the first book that I’ve read by Gage Grayson but the fourth book that I’ve read by Carter Blake and I think they make a great writing team and I look forward to reading more of their work.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
