Chance (Rusted and Reckless #1) by Charlotte Casey

 Long Distance Love

Greer McQueen is bassist with the new country group Rusted & Reckless and is also attending Penn Uni for his degree but he does this online due to the fact that he didn’t want to be recognised [he is also shy] and because of the touring the band did.  He meets Aveleine Micheals who is also an online student[also has two jobs, up to her ears in debt and caring for her mum who was tragically injured in a car accident] and takes two of the same classes as him.  He doesn’t let on who he is even when she lets him know that he’s in her favourite band.  When she tells him that a friend is taking her out to see them that night as it’s her birthday he knows that he must see her.  But when he meets her with Matt [her cousin but Greer thinks he is her boyfriend when he is really her cousin] he keeps away from her. Later on when he hears her say that Matt is her cousin he waits to make a play to talk to her privately.  To find out how that goes you’ll need to get your own copy of this story as it is a sweet story of romance, angst, misunderstandings, distance and maybe a chance of lasting love!  This is the first book that I’ve read by Charlotte Casey but it won’t be the last as I was entertained from first to last page.  Looking forward to reading her next story.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
