But she’s going to and ranch hand Chris is going to make sure that she falls in love with him. Kennedy’s dad owns a large ranch in Montana and she helps him running the ranch as long as it doesn’t involve her going anywhere near the horses. Chris really is just using this job as a stop gap on his way to Illinois to fulfill his dream of becoming a top architect. All the other ranch hands warn him off Kennedy as they say she doesn’t have a heart but Chris feels otherwise. He’s so attracted to her that he knows she just needs the correct impetus to fall in love with him and along the way he’ll find out why she won’t go near horses. This is the first time that I’ve read any of Andrea Kate Pearson’s stories but it will not be the last. her style is very relaxed and with the details that she gives you it’s as if the characters come almost alive on the pages. It’s a book that you won’t want to put down as you need to know whether Chris and Kennedy will get their HEA or will he leave?
