Pete has been away with the Marines for 16 years but he’s back home, briefly, and is out on his bike when he sees a gorgeous young woman sitting at a cafe by the side of the road when the youth with her, starts pulling her roughly. That’s enough to bring out the hero instincts in him and he comes to her rescue much to the youth’s anger. The stunning young woman, Emily, and he spend the day together and the chemistry between them is panty melting and they both admit they want each other very much but she’s not ready. Pete’s a good guy and would never force himself on any woman but he is really attracted and interested in her so they continue their ‘date’. Then like a true gent he takes her home and says goodbye. Now this is one of Flora Ferrari’s stories so it can’t end just there! With all that passion and simmering lust! Surely not. But to find out how these two love birds actually get together you need to read this book as it is quite different from all her others stories that I have read which is what makes it extra special. Great characters who were so easy to like and I did like the ending very much. Another great story by Flora but with a twist! I look forward to reading her next book.I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Definitely recommended
