Now Kyra is a young woman who was brought up in the mountains by her Dad as her mum had died when she was 10 years old. Her childhood friends were their next door neighbours, The Trent brothers comprising of Blake, Chance, Ethan, Harper, Owen and Rowan. She was used to playing football and rough and tumble games with them. But she grew up and moved away for college and then work. She got engaged to a man called Langdon but the engagement didn’t last as they were so different and wanting different things. She’d moved to new York as it was where his business was but she hated her job as a sex-ed teacher. When she broke her engagement she handed in her notice and went back home to her Dad for Christmas.. Her dad met her at the airport and expressed his delight that she was no longer engaged to him and the Trent brothers are delighted as they’ve been in love with her for years. Now that she’s free they’re going to make her theirs. Rye Hart has a way with words and has woven a spectacular storyline here with great characters [how on earth will Kyra choose which brother??] and when her ex makes an appearance will he win her back? You know that I’m not going to tell you. What I will say is that you need to enjoy the journey that this book takes you one. I loved the way there were multiple POV so you understand so much more of what is going on and why, the dialogue between Kyra and the brothers is sizzling and will heat up the room temperature for you. Certain scenes are going to force you to try and get cool and there is humour to make the story even more enjoyable. With well developed characters and emotions running high expect a real roller coaster of a ride that you will want to stay. This is one of those stories that I will be re-reading as it’s such good fun and gave me a “feel good” factor. I will be buying this so that I have my own copy plus the bonus story is well worth the book price too!
DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED.
