This is the fourth book in the Hangman series by W.L. Knightly [aka Ali Parker and Lexy Timms] that will have you sitting on the ‘edge of your seats’ as this thriller series continues. Detectives Jake and Jo are getting closer to the serial killer – they know who he is but just can’t find him! But she is too involved due to her father and brother whom Jake hates. He is so conflicted and is at the stage of wondering whether he can trust her professionalism because of her father’s hold over her. However, if they don’t catch the serial killer then her father and brother may be his next victims. On the other hand, the romantic relationship between Jo and Jake is taking a ponding in this tense case and I’m not sure whether they do have a HEA in their future together. There does need to be some extra care with editing due to some ‘I’ and ‘me’ getting mixed up as well as a few tenses. But otherwise, I am really looking forward to book 5! I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. Most Definitely Recommended
