Rule Breaker By Accident by Ali Parker

Loved The Hero But I was Irritated By The Heroine!

Here is the third book in the series by the fabulous best selling author, Ali Parker. I think the storyline was well thought out and that bit ‘different’ to hook my attention and I loved Rylen, the hero and a superb cardiac surgeon. He’s al alpha male certainly but he is also so caring and loving although he does have a ‘dark’ secret that he is not willing to share with anyone he doesn’t know well. He meets Olive, the ‘heroine’in this story who is rather immature and self absorbed. She is in her twenties and still doesn’t know what she wants to do so is waitressing until she discovers what she wants to do with her life. She meets She sees Rylen at the hospital when she goes to visit a friend who has just had a baby and she is attracted to him. They later meet at a party and begin to date. He tells her of his secret without telling her what it is but that he will at some point [why mention it?] As I said she is rather immature and is insulted that he won’t tell her his secret and so dumps him!? See what I mean about her? I really did enjoy the story and it was only Olive’s narcissistic nature and a nurse,Edgar, whose behaviour seems to radically change for no apparent reason that makes me give this only a 4 stars. BUT, I look forward with anticipation for more of Ali’s spectacular stories in the future! I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. Definitely recommended.
