Emotional Angst
This is the first book that I’ve read by J. Saman and I’m really not sure of this book. her writing is very good and her descriptions are exceptional in that they make the characters really seem to ‘come to life’. Dr Finn is handsome and gorgeous but has a tragic past that we don’t find out about till nearly the end of the book when he has basically forced Gia , midwife and love interest, to avoid him and it’s then at his lowest point he realises how lucky he was to have her. They seem to have an on /off relationship depending on how Finn is feeling. To me, I couldn’t give this five stars as it went on too long with Finn’s angst and then there was proportionally too little time for a HEA. Some great points in favour of the book.
