I haven’t read the previous book so, at times, it seemed a bit disjointed to me. We ,meet Gia, our ‘heroine’, who is an entertainment journalist. She’s already had one affair with a billionaire musician called Christoff but she’s now with Trevor who is another billionaire who is into BSDM and he wants her as his sub despite the fact that her personality is no where near a submissive in any shape or form. So, in many ways, this is a non starter. I didn’t warm towards Gia as she seemed to be very self centred and just acting out being the personality of the ‘man of the moment’ to keep him happy. I struggled to finish the story as she annoyed me so much.
