I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Bruce and Alexa have both had very different upbringing. Alexa grew up knowing that love was not going to make her give up on her dreams as her mum had. Most of her life she had spent helping her mum look after her ailing dad and younger siblings. Bruce, however, was very wealthy financially but his mum left him and his siblings to be brought up and abused by their father. These two people are brought together and it is like lightening striking when they meet as the chemistry between them is powerful. Will Alexa change her mind about love? To find out you are going to need to purchase a copy of this beautifully written book by M.A. Clarke Scott. This is the second book in the series but as this is the first book that I have read by her, I can honestly tell you that it can easily be read as a standalone story.
