True Desires (New Dawn) by Rhea Wilde

Do They Stand A Chance Of Love?

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is the first book that I’ve read by Rhea Wilde but I was very pleasantly surprised and will be looking for more of her stories as this one was so good. This is the story of Sheila and Noah. She is a social worker about 38 years old and she returns home after about 20 years living abroad. She has suffered a lost love and is trying to overcome her feelings about it. One night she goes out and when returning home she is attacked by thugs, dragged into an alleyway and they try to rape her. But she is saved by Noah, a 21 year old mechanic who is like a Greek god and with amazing blue eyes, hears her shouts and runs to help her. He takes her to his home and the attraction between them is very apparent but they do nothing about it. She goes to his place of work the next day and he invites her out, she is reluctant because of their age difference but he doesn’t care and she agrees. They go back to his flat and one thing leads to another and they end up in bed having passionate, steamy and hot sex. But there are so many differences between them, how can they have a relationship? I did like the writing style of Rhea and the storyline. It’s not very often that you read of a much older woman with a younger man and whether any relationship between them will be possible and lasting. I enjoyed this book and encourage you to give this a try too as it was so well written and keeps up a good pace but be warned that a fan may be needed!
DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED.
