Let’s Make It Real!
Riley has wanted Brooklyn since the first moment that he saw her but they got off on the wrong foot and nothing has happened between them. Brooklyn divorced her husband as he was verbally and mentally abusive and now is a single mum with her daughter, Parker, whom she is bringing up alone. Their house needs fixing, especially the roof, so she reluctantly asks Riley, the local handyman, if he will give her a quote to repair it. He still thinks that she is the sexiest woman alive and ever will be and he agrees to repair it if she will come to an agreement with him. Now Brooklyn also avoids Riley because she is very attracted to him so when he explains that he wants to start his building firm properly but he needs a loan for that and the only way he can get a loan is if he is married, she agrees to become his wife in name only and as long as he keeps quiet about it. They’re both happy with the agreement especially as he’s fixing her home for nothing. She invites him to Christmas Day lunch with her and Parker and it seems like his dream of a family could possibly become a reality if he can get Brooklyn on board. The passion between them cannot be denied and they spend one very steamy and hot, sensual night together but Brooklyn still wants to keep their marriage as in name only as she’s scared. But Riley has had a taste of ‘heaven’ now and wants more. Can he persuade Brooklyn to give him a chance to prove that he is a good guy and loves and will protect her? Will Brooklyn risk her heart and entrust him to keep it safe? Beautifully written by Aria Ford. Whilst the chemistry between them is undeniable it takes trust and Aria weaves her story so that I was completely engrossed and didn’t put it down until I had finished it. A real MUST HAVE read that will keep you entertained and unwilling to put it down till you’ve reached the end. I look forward to Aria’s next story. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
