Bridesmaid for Hire: A Valentine’s Day Romance by Chance Carter

Bridesmaid + Best Man = HEA

Chance Carter is a fantastic author whose writing is really developing greater depth and I love the way that he pens such great plots and characters that practically leap off the page to the reader. In this book we meet Frankie who developed a business based on her marriage’s downfall where her supposed best friend [chief bridesmaid] had an affair with Frankie’s husband and ran off with him when her trying to sabotage the wedding didn’t work. So she decided that she would do her best that no one else had to go through with their ‘best friend’ ruining their wedding and so she is wedding planner, ‘best friend’ of the bride and she makes all the planning go smoothly.  She meets Levi who is the groom’s best man and brother at the latest client’s wedding. The two families are business competitors and Levi makes it clear that he doesn’t trust the bride’s family and especially Frankie! The air crackles with the intensity of the  chemistry between these two when they meet but they both have past issues and Levi certainly has trust issues and does not want to be in a relationship.  However, they’re like two magnets that are drawn together and can’t keep apart so they are either verbally sparring and Levi trying to cause problems with the planning as he is so grumpy OR they are getting hot and dirty between the bedsheets!  This is a fun read – no doubt about it. It was so easy to fall in ‘love’ with Levi and Frankie is the perfect foil to him. My imagination was captured on page 1 and Chance kept my attention focussed on their love story with it’s ups and downs till they fell for each other.  It was a fabulous ride and I thoroughly encourage you to grab yourself a copy of this book and enjoy.  If you’ve read books by Chance you will know how entertaining his books are. For those of you to whom he is a new author, you are in for a treat and have so many wonderful stories to catch up with!!  A book that I will be adding to my collection as I will want to re-read this in the future as it’s so good.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED
