Maureen Evans has had a crush on Smith Harrington since they were at uni together. But throughout the years she knew he never saw her as anything more than his best friend and that was better than nothing. So a friend she stayed despite her longings. She set up the veterinary practice and now Smith is moving to her to be her partner in the vets. How is Maureen going to keep her feelings a secret when he is so close?? The problem though is that Smith has loved her all these years too and now he has waited too long and must find out if he has a chance of happiness with Maureen? The chemistry between them is like a fireworks display but they just can;’t seem to see it themselves. It was fun to read how her family and friends offer advice to Smith on how to win her heart. Such a warm and loving story that is a real feel good factor to this living story. So well written by Tawdra and I loved how she developed her characters and ‘played’ with them and had so much fun in them finding love and a HEA with each other. I’m definitely a fan now and will be devouring her other books too.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
