There should be a warning with this book that it is seriously funny! Sammi is one feisty young lady who is about to be married to someone called Eggbert(!?!) and she’s having her hen party a few days early in Bancock and they are most assuredly sticking to ONE drink only! However, one thing leads to another and… The next day Sammi finds herself in bed with Locke who is one of her colleagues and has been secretly in love with her for over three years and really doesn’t want her to marry anyone but him. All her other friends have had similarly embarrassing and awkward moments with other people. Using their phones they try to piece together what happened the night before but they’re no help. This story will make you laugh and should serve as a reason why you shouldn’t get rip-roaring drunk as you’re never too sure about what you will or won’t do. With plenty of passion to heat you up and twists and turns that could make you dizzy, The Marriage Mistake is one book that will keep you entertained from beginning to end and keep you remembering and smiling for quite some time to come. I thought this was a very clever story with unexpected twists and the consistent mischievous smile of Locke that drives Sammi wild 😉 Get yourself a copy and enjoy!
