Lust to Love: A Second Chance Romance by Mia Ford, Bella Winters

   Should She Trust Him?

Oh this is so sweet, romantic, passionate and oh such a wonderful story by Mia Ford and Bella Winters that is a must have read.  Prudence suffers abuse in childhood form her father so ends up in care. There she meets Logan who is so very much her real life hero and the man she grows to love in the romantic sense however much she realises that they cannot be together. But when it’s time for her to leave they both struggle against their feelings.   I loved both these two characters as we were allowed to see them become friends, trusting one another to real seep feelings. Logan was so good and caring and he was a real example of how a real man fights his feelings because they were not appropriate under the circumstances and then their passions cannot be ignored and they fall into an intimate relationship with love. But he gets scared and breaks up with her to put distance between them and he goes and uses a ‘f*ck buddy’!!!!!  Well that put me off him completely. It was so out of character for him with all that had be written about him before. If he was so in love with her why did he go straight to a ‘f*ck buddy’ – just didn’t make sense to me as I would have thought his feelings would have prevented him from being with anyone else.  To carry on with the rest of the book I had to try and just blank that part out of the book – by trying to do that the rest of the book is perfect as, to me, him being with someone else when supposedly in love with Prudence was cheating.  Prudence is a well developed character and has suffered so much bad treatment of those who supposedly love her abusing or not loving her as she deserves.  Despite Logan’s behavior [me ignoring that aspect of the book], I did love this story which is very unique and gives us so much insight to this caring young woman. Beautifully written by Mia Ford and Bella Winters and I strongly urge you to get your own copy as there is a special, unpublished story inside as a bonus. I received a reader’s copy and voluntarily leave my honest review of it here.
