Royal Engagement by Chance Carter

   A Fantastic Author’s Latest Story

In less than two months there will be the latest royal wedding in Britain, with a multiracial, American, actress and a British prince who has been known to be a bit of a playboy.  The parallels in this book, in many ways, are interesting!

Alex is the playboy prince who really isn’t very royal but loves women whilst the actress in this is called Tamara.  They meet by accident unlike the real life ones and the story flows from there.  The real life situation was way too obvious not to be written about and I think Chance Carter has probably written a way more real life account here for us all to enjoy. They have chemistry bouncing between them and this is obviously a major part of the story. However, the one significant thing that they both have in common is that they know how to ‘handle’ the media to their advantage like the two real life ones do too which helps make their match so compatible.  I am a fan of Chance’s stories and found this an excellent, entertaining story with characters that I genuinely liked and  I certainly ‘rooted’ for them getting their HEA.  The way they bounce off each other and balance one another is pure poetry and their characters blend so well even though they have differing backgrounds, they both have the experience of dealing with the paparazzi. How Alex goes about to find his Kitty Kat is fun and very down to earth.  I’m pleased that Chance has taken on this venture of a royal marrying a commoner as his writings are so well penned – with great sensitivity, down to earth common sense with a wee bit of absurdity. He has certainly woven his magic in composing this wonderful story.  I will be purchasing my own copy as the  book is terrific, to support a fantastic author and because I want to read all those extra stories too!  I encourage you all if you haven’t read any of his books before to try this one [plus the bonus stories] and you may just be turned into a fan of his stories like so many of us.I received an arc of this book and voluntarily leave my honest review of it here
