He Doesn’t recognise His Own Son
This is Paul and Kelly’s story as well as the story of two boys getting a proper family. Paul had been married and they had a son but the marriage didn’t work out and they divorced. Paul was a Navy SEAL and went on active service. On leave he met Kelly, a virgin, and they fell instantly in lust/love and had unprotected sex. But he left, despite him being in love with her and he never kept in touch with her. Six years later he has his son staying with him and new neighbours move in. The new neighbours are Kelly and her/their son that he knows nothing about. Kelly wants to keep away from him despite her feelings for him haven’t changed and Paul is still in love with her and wants to try again even though he is upset that she must have been with another man to have a son!! Obviously maths is not his strong point! The two boys get on together wonderfully but both Paul and Kelly are stubborn and not wanting to be hurt again. At times, I felt like I needed to give both Kelly and Paul a good shake for not seeing what was right in front of them!!!! Tia Wylder has written a good storyline here that I read in less than an afternoon. The scenes between Kelly and Paul are red hot but I really couldn’t understand why Paul just couldn’t see the similarities between the two boys and the fact that he could be the father of them both.
