I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is the story of Selena, a model from new York, who leaves her abusive boyfriend behind and ends up in a town at a bar called The Midnight Rodeo. After having a few drinks too many she is approached by a tall, handsome man called Richard, who says to call him Dick! She wakes up the next day not knowing what happened the night before but receives a text message from Dick to meet at the coffee shop across the road. There she is introduced to his friend and business partner, Victor. They get her to accept a job as their personal assistant and she readily signs without checking the small print! And, oh boy, should she have checked as the job entails far more than usual PA’s does. The rest you will have to read. This is a very quick read and I really can’t imagine any young woman who seems to be relatively intelligent to go along with Dick and Victor’s desires. They are her Daddies! Angela Blake seems to like writing about the formula of one woman and two men lately. Her writing style does flow well and she does draw the reader into the story but there really wasn’t much of a story in this book to make it stand out. I do enjoy Angela’s books but this isn’t my favourite. A very quick, readable book. Enjoy!
Double Cowboy – features Lexie who is feeling rather love at the moment and goes to the pub to drown her sorrows. A hunky man comes and sits next to her and starts chatting, letting her know that his friend is the one on stage entertaining everyone. Travis introduces her to Luke backstage and one thing leads to another and. . .
Double Marines – Alia is out camping with some friends when a storm starts to blow and she gets separated form her friends. She falls and hits her head but she is rescued by two gorgeous ex marines who will do everything to make sure that she is safe and well! They are so attentive that she just can’t refuse them anything !!
