Umar isn’t just a Sheik – he is a sheik whose little girl loves to listen to Shannon who used to be in the charts with several songs. But fame has passed by so when she gets a call asking for her to play for his daughter’s birthday party she is delighted to accept. She doesn’t let on that she is no longer very busy and tries to keep up the myth of her fame and Umar falls for her just as his daughter [who is a real sweetheart] and Shannon falls for him too. What happens when he finds out the truth? Will he give her a second chance? He thinks that shes made a fool of him! So well written by Holly Rayner and Ana Sparks that you may be like me and not want to put the book down [I took my kindle with me virtually everywhere]. Such great characters and it was actually humourous in places the lengths that Shannon went to maintain her image to him. A great ending that rounded the story off very nicely.
