Slow Start Then a Good Storyline!
Gigi Thorne is a collection of best selling authors who are collaborating to compose these wonderful stories for us. This one was sad in some places, fun and red hot in others, whilst there was also a wicked’demon’ on the horizon – or should I say in the kitchen! Beau, our hero, is not much of an alpha male and really he should have been as he basically was walked over completely by his wicked ex who should be in jail for life! Winnie has had a hard life and was a total innocent till she met Beau and he ‘kidnapped’ her off the stage where she was going to dance and he couldn’t stomach the idea of any man, other than himself, of seeing all of her. Her stage name is Buttercup – hence the title of the story. So well written but not quite as good as the others basically because of some ‘muddling’. Having said that, I will be looking forward to Gigi’s next romantic adventure as they have all been so well written and once I had got over the first chapter, I enjoyed the story.
