Maddie works for her dad helping with the business’s books. But when she is kidnapped he doesn’t know what to do. But he realises the only one he can turn to for any hope of real help is his old friend, now enemy, Sheik Imraan. Imraan agrees to help pay the ransom but on the understanding that Maddie will be HIS! Her dad agrees as he is desperate to keep Maddie safe. But will she be safe with Imraan?? Who really kidnapped her?? Why does she keep having flashbacks with Imraan in them? This is a gritty and disturbing storyline in so many ways and you really hope that people wouldn’t be like this. A happy ending to the story? This is my first story that I’ve read by Annabelle Winters and I am certainly intrigued. Whilst this is not the usual genre for me I will certainly be reading more from her in the future. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. RECOMMENDED
