Carter and Darby are characters that you’re going to learn to love. Mason, her older brother, well let’s say I still didn’t really like him much at all even at the end of the book! What a controlling creep! R.S. Lively has composed the most delicious second chance romance for us here. Our hero and heroine were parted because of the Manipulative Mason. They initially met in an orphanage before he was fabulously wealthy so there is no issue about her being attracted to his money. However, he did disappear and left her without a word and very hurt. But ten years later he is back and he needs to explain why he was warned away! A wonderful second chance romance that kept me, a typical romantic fan, glues to my kindle until I’d finished reading it! Written with flair and humour as well as plenty of steam. I really enjoyed this story and encourage you to try this too. I look forward to R.S. Lively’s next romantic adventure.
