He’s Damaged Not Broken – A Fabulous Read!
Grayson is the oldest of his brothers and has been running the family business for some time now very successfully. However, when their father dies he makes a caveat as to who will take over the business and it is one that surprises and infuriates Grayson. To inherit whichever brother produces a legitimate child will inherit. Now Grayson is a very closed off character and doesn’t involve his heart in anything other than for his mum who is a wonderful character! He thinks his youngest brother whom he is very competitive with, Jack, is going to try and take his firm from him and he’s determined that he won’t let that happen. But he has no female that he would want to have a child with. Then he meets Hannah a CEO of her own natural make up company but who is in desperate need of financial backing. He is very attracted to her and it’s obvious that it’s mutual. But will she agree to be his fiancée and have his child?? She does, however, have a secret or two, one being that she knew Jack at college and she doesn’t tell Grayson. His temper explodes and his jealousy causes major trouble between them. Hannah is a young confident and feisty young woman who is a great role model for women. Grayson is damaged but not broken it’s just that he needs to sit back and realise what and who is good for him. At times I was ready to strangle Grayson with the things he did and said so he’s got some major apologising and proving that he is a man worthy of Hannah. But can he do that? So beautifully composed by the best selling author, Ali Parker. I think you may have gathered that I really loved this book and found it very difficult to put down as it was so absorbing and I was waiting to see whether Grayson messed up, yet again, or whether he got his act together! With plenty of passion and love you will probably need your fan or a/c at the ready as there are some hot and steamy scenes. Very believable and realistic. I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. Definitely recommended!!
