Expect no ugly step sisters or for Lydia to have a wicked stepmother [Jaimie has that except she’s not really wicked to him in the usual sense]. They were both born on the opposite side of the tracks as they say. His father is wealthy and unhappy with life and this manifests itself in anger and controlling issues. Lydia’s Dad is his chauffeur and her Mum is gone.. They have both spotted each other from afar but she knows that she has no chance with him and he’s seemingly just a playboy with no interest in a real relationship until he realises that she is His One and he knows he must do something to get to know her. When she comes to go home with her Dad after college they start talking and flirting. But his father has noticed and that’s NOT a good thing. Can these star crossed lovers find a way to be together or is it just young lust? Beautifully written by Mia Ford with just that wonderful twist to make it unique in many ways. I so wanted Jaimie and Lydia to have their own HEA but it was unexpected! A Must Have read that is a real page turner. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Most Definitely Recommended
