This is actually the third book in a fabulous series about Billionaires by the terrific best selling USA author, Ali Parker that will leave you wanting more. Now having said that it’s the third book in the series, don’t let that put you off as you can read it as a standalone. However, I have read all three and as a consequence, I feel as if I ‘know’ the characters all the more having met Matt and Erica in books 1 and 2 as well as Matt’s family with their quirks! Matt is the artistic one of his family of accountants but he never had an inclination for that and has gone his own way and not joined the firm, preferring to to his art. Erica has done business with Matt’s family business for two years now and they both have been emotionally invested in each other even though they deny it. Erica appears to be all alpha female whilst Matt is a supposed ‘gentle’ artist. But in the bedroom expect the opposite of both of them and it’s there that they discover that they are very simpatico but they’re both scared of being hurt. Then there is someone, Mitch, who comes on the scene and things start to really heat up as does he mean the end of these two wonderful characters? I’ve now ‘known’ Erica and Matt for three books and I have really enjoyed them. He’s sweet and fun and very protective [see book one with his ‘new’ sister and how sweet he was looking out for her]. He is also a bit wary of Erica as he knows the pull that she has over him and he both wants that yet fears it at the same time. Erica, meanwhile, is a strong young woman who has loved Matt for two years now and tried to persuade him to come work for her business in all that time but he’s yet to be persuaded. Yet when they do get together the air practically sizzles with the chemistry between them. This is a story that I enjoyed very much and will re-read it in the future as it was just so well written and entertaining – a real page turning book.
