Julian realises that he hasn’t been in touch with his deceased best friend’s daughter for over a year and gets in touch. In fact, ‘Uncle’ Julian offers Avery a job as personal assistant for him at his new publishing house she is worried that he has given her the job out of pity. But that’s the last thing on Julian’s mind. This older billionaire starts to fall in love with her but realises also that people will see any potential relationship between them as taboo – especially her vile mother! But his feelings for Avery far out weigh any worry about other people’s feelings. There is so much energy and passion between them as well as witty dialogue and humour peppered throughout the book. Really their ages were just numbers but they were two people very much in love with one another – so who cares? This is a real page turner of a story within a great storyline by the best selling author, B.B. Hamel. This is book 7 of The Dark Daddies Series by her and I have read, loved and enjoyed every one of them. I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.
