This is the story of how Bella, an American, who meets Adrian, A Greek, at work. In fact, he is the CEO of the company in Greece where she is to be a marketing intern. I liked that he isn’t a man whore as so many successful and good looking so called heroes tend to be in the books. However, he is frightened of his domineering mother who is wanting him married. To appease her, after spending some time and being very attracted to Bella, he persuades Bella to pretend to be his girlfriend and them visit his family to get his mother off his back. However, the visit ends badly when his mother is rude about Bella, Adrian doesn’t come to her defence so Bella leaves. She is so upset that she doesn’t just leave his family meeting but her job and Greece! He’s devastated that she’s left him as he now realises that he loves her but is it enough to go after her? Meanwhile how does Bella feel about him?[Other than he was awful not coming to her defence??]I liked both Bella and Adrian [apart from that last instance]. There was a fun and natural attraction and chemistry between them that flowed and was good to read in this page turning story by the nest selling author, Weston Parker. The characters were engaging and realistic – as was the storyline. If you haven’t read any of Weston’s books before [where on earth have you been?] then this is surely a book that will encourage you to read even more of his stories. I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. Most Definitely Recommended.
