This is book 4 of the fantastic series, Searing Saviors, by the amazing best selling author, Weston Parker. These books are about some of the firefighters in one station and it is now Mav’s turn to find romance. I must admit that I loved him in book 3 where he helped out the hero. He is a widower with a gorgeous little chatterbox called Olivette who is his pride, joy and reason for living. When he gets to meet her teacher, Allie, that Olivette has just started ‘warming’ towards they are both struck by mutual attraction. But is it appropriate? They struggle with their feelings towards one another but why? They are both single and needing love?Plus Olivette will certainly be encouraging them. he gets some teasing from his colleagues but I think that’s because they like him and are pleased for him finding love. The chemistry between them was palpable and so well written that it was almost able to ‘feel’ their love for each other. The three of them are such wonderful 3-D characters with obviously Olivette being the heart steeling favourite. Written with passion and sensitivity such that I didn’t want to put this page turner down. One to re-read as it’s just so good [in fact the whole series is going to be read by me].
