This is the love story of Trent, ex retired military veteran and now multi billionaire hotelier, and newly graduated Sade, research biologist and ex military brat. They meet when she and her best friends Kholoe and Julie celebrate their graduation by having a week at a resort in Lake Tahoe.Sade is quiet and shy which is in contrast to her two besties. Whilst in the dining room, Sade sets her eyes on the most handsome man she has ever seen with stunning blue eyes [the model on the front cover is perfect for the part of Trent!] Trent has locked eyes on her and is equally mesmerised and is determined to get to know her which is very unlike him. He makes it obvious to them all, but Sade naturally who doesn’t think such a gorgeous man would be interested in her, that he is very attracted to her. And so begins their love affair. There are obstacles in their way such as her living and working in Fresno whilst he is in Lake Tahoe, but a few hundred miles is NOT going to stop one mutli billionaire from being with the woman of his dreams! What’s the point of having excess money, private jet and a helicopter on standby if you can’t use them? I must also mention one character that cannot be ignored – and that’s the adorable Leia. Such a wonderful story that makes it now in my top three of Ali Parker’s books that I love and will keep on reading for many years to come.
