This is the second book in the fabulous series The Devil’s Luck MC Series by the best selling authors Ali Parker and A. Parker. Their ‘battle’ against the evil gang lead by Walter Bates continues but the focus is on Suzie Black, the President’s little sister, and his Vice President, Mason. They have known each other for most of their lives as he was best friends with their brother William who was murdered by Bates. Trouble is, that whilst they eventually admit their love for one another, they don’t feel that they can let Jack know as he doesn’t want Suzie involved in the Devil’s business. But when Mason is ‘hijacked’ by the local cops [who are working for Bates] and is badly beaten, she knows that she can’t keep away any longer. Thanks to a Texas Ranger, Carrie, who saves his life the Devils know that they have an ally but also that Bates will use the supposed law to try and trap each and every one of them. Great storyline with strong characters that is so believable that I could almost ‘see’ the unfolding story in my mind’s eye as I was absorbed in the story. Great writing and one series that is not to be missed. Looking forward to reading more about Tex and Carrie! This book had me sitting on the edge of my seat as the drama continues.
