This is the third book in the fabulous The Devil’s Luck MC Series by the best selling authors Ali Parker and A. Parker [aka Ali and Weston Parker] that you won’t want to put down once you’ve started reading it. In this book, the story centres around Tex and the Texas Ranger, Carrie, who saved Mason’s life in book 2. Carrie’s life is in danger since she went up against the evil Walter Bates and his gang. So Jackson, President of the Devil’s Luck MC decides that Carrie should room with Tex to keep her safe. What she doesn’t realise is that Tex used to be a Texas Ranger too until his life was turned upside down. This is a fast paced story with charismatic characters that had me almost sitting on the edge of my seat when things got ‘dangerous’! Tex begins to appreciate Carrie for the first time and they both realise how attracted they are towards each other. Steamy does not give you sufficient idea how the scenes between these two develop. They are RED HOT SCORCHING! I’m not going to give too much away but at one stage I really feared for one of them but Brody, the doctor in the gang, was able to make sure that all went pretty much as planned. Plenty of action and surprises and, oh my goodness, what’s going to happen next? Is Brody going to be one of the main characters of book 4? I don’t know. But I do know that I will be reading it, and all the others, as soon as a I possibly can as I am invested in their lives. Fantastic series.
