I am an avid reader of romance, military humour, science fiction, paranormal, historical, western and science non fiction books.
When I read a review made by someone else to get a ‘flavour’ of the story I want to be able to see that they have actually READ the book and not just copied and pasted a review that they use every time but merely change the author’s name and hero/heroine’s names as some do or just giving a couple of words. As I like to know that the reviews I read tell me about the story, I therefore write reviews that I would like to read.
I receive no reward for my reading or reviews other than the pleasure of reading and some free review copies from some authors.
I am going to have to remove some reviews due to circumstances beyond my control as I cannot , in all conscience, support that person. I set up this blog to share my love of books and supporting some of my favourite authors and I hope that you may find ‘new’ authors to try as a result of reading some of my reviews.
