  A Magical Romance

Oh this is such a different type of story by Angela Blake [whose writing I have loved for some time] and Ruby Forest who is a new author to me.  I like reading about the paranormal. I like reading about romance. I like reading about mysteries so this book ticks all three for me so is on to a great start!  Tane has a family secret that he cannot tell under penalty of death to do so.  But he loves Livy whom he met when he was 13 years old. he’s now a marine biology student and a shifter which he must keep as a secret.  Do they stand a chance at love? I really enjoyed the way that I was so drawn to the story which is quite unique and Tane and Livy.  There is plenty of chemistry between the two of them and the passion practically leaps off the pages of my Kindle.  This is one book that is a great summer read that is fast paced and fun. I will be looking for more stories by Ruby Forrest as well as Angela Blake.  I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Baby Seal: A Navy Seal Romance by Angela Blake

  A Great Story!

Landon was a Navy SEAL and he’s now back home in Charleston where there is going to be a ceremony to commemorate him and those who fell in combat.  faith has moved there to get away from her ex and is working on a project to build and furnish homes for ex military returning home for good.  It’s his parents who are funding the project and that’s how they meet.  The chemistry between them is off the charts and this is so well written by Angela Blake whose stories I really like to read.  But there is a stalker in town and taking photos of Faith.  Who could it be?  Is she safe?  Will Landon keep her safe?  This a fast paced read with very likeable characters [not the stalker obviously!] whom I really wanted to get their own HEA.  Written with passion and there is plenty between the pages – I was just thankful that my Kindle didn’t melt!  I strongly urge you to get a copy and I hope you enjoy the story as much as I did.  I look forward to Angela’s next book.  I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Seven Princes: A Very Dirty Fairtytale by Angela Blake

  Not For Me

I have read and loved stories by Angela Blake before, so I was looking forward to an entertaining romp.  I am sorry to say that I didn’t even finish reading the book. It really needs some dramatic proofreading and editing for one thing.  The heroine is a spoilt, immature brat who sorely needs to grow up and needs to learn what love actually means. As for the so-called ‘princes’, they were very 1-dimensional and there really was very little story. The ‘sex’ scenes were repetitive and not particular;y helpful to the story. This is NOT the usual style of Angela Blake so please don’t think that the rest of her books are the same.  If you just want a book with sex scenes with multiple men and you can ignore editing errors then this is the book for you.  Sorry 🙁   .I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

My personal favourite was Jenny, Mark and Noah’s story as they really seemed like a little family. All relatively arrogant men with plenty of pulling power who don’t realise that they are father’s until the right time. Can they ‘man up’ to go from being fathers to actual Dads??  To find out you’re going to have to get a copy of this collection and read through all the steamy scenes with passion and maybe some leading to love.  They are fast paced shirt stories that will heat up wherever you are so have you fans ready to switch on to max cool!  They were a fun read – great for a holiday lying on a beach or waiting at the airport!I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
