Their attraction is instant but she has issues too. She is trying to recover from a previous abusive relationship so she is wary and shy. Unbroken: A Second Chance Romance by Aria Ford

  Will They Or Won’t They?

Margo and jay were childhood sweethearts and he was her brother’s best friend.  He was a talented footballer and played for the NFL whilst Margo was a beauty and a model for a make up company. They have made a pact to never go to each other’s work – she never sees him play unless it’s on TV later and he doesn’t go to her photo shoots.  But she hears from her brother that jay has been severely injured in a match and his career may be over.  Margo never hears from him again as he ghosts her totally.  She is devastated and can’t get on with her life as she still loves him and , believe it or not, but he still loves her but doesn’t feel worthy of her.  Four years later, he comes home for his dad’s birthday and he sees her at the airport with her brother.  But he continues to push her away and won’t give her the answers that she needs to hear from him and really that they both need to talk about.  There is a great deal going on in this latest story by Aria Ford.  She has created a great storyline with interesting characters and secrets.  Whilst I did feel so sorry for jay, he really needed to not give up on himself and others who loved him.  he’s so unhappy doing that – so it’s obviously not working so why not embrace his loved ones instead??  Margo seems to almost ‘let him’ push her away again and again which, in a way may have encouraged his behaviour.  But does she continue like this or does she decide to take him at his word and evict him from her heart?  Can she do this? Will jay be happy if she turns away and leaves him alone forever??  This is a good story although I did want to give them both a ‘mental shake’ to grow up a bit and see what is really the important things that they want in life.  I will, however, be looking forward to Aria’s next story.I received a reader’s copy of the book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

   Where has He Been?

Ainsley loved Drake but he left without a word. Nothing. Her heart was broken and over the years it didn’t begin to mend.  Then a chance meeting brings them back together. Their feelings are unchanged. She is still in love with him but doesn’t think she can go through losing him again and she knows he isn’t telling her the truth about why he left.  Drake wants to help the world and children especially and cannot tell Ainsley what he’s been up to. Will he just leave her again without a word and will she be able to cope with a shattered heart?  The passion between them is real but is it as important as other aspects of their lives?  A great story with plenty of steamy sex and suspense. The Nanny: A Single Dad Romance by Aria Ford

  Worthy Of Love

Isaak is a loving Dad whose only reason for living his his wonderful little girl Ivy. He will do whatever he can to protect her from her wicked mother, Jade, who he divorced because of her drug habit, stealing from him and putting Ivy’s life in jeopardy.  As a result he was awarded full custody, and Jade was only allowed supervised visits with a member of Social Services as she had already tried kidnapping Ivy [not because she loves her but to crucify Isaak].  Jared, consequently, only loves Ivy and trusts no one else but his best friend, Connor, who has known him for years and knows what he’s been though.  Unfortunately, Jared has a trust and temper issue which means that he has gone through umpteen nannies for Ivy and he’s getting desperate.  The latest nanny is called Kira.  She is a feisty young woman who loves working with children despite her boyfriend’s insistence that she give it up and marry him but she refuses to marry him, just yet, but can’t explain why. Her first impression of Issac is rather alarming as he’s shouting down the phone threatening someone.  When she knocks on the door he drags her in, isn’t polite and basically orders her not to let Ivy’s mum, Jade, in or anywhere near Ivy but won’t say why as he’s late for the office where he is a multi billionaire CEO.  Despite being disturbed by his behaviour she finds Ivy and is charmed by her and they chat. Jade enters and is the epitome of charm to Kira and Ivy!  Kira wonders why on earth Isaak would say such dreadful things about Jade when he is the only one who’s been unpleasant.  Will Jade take Ivy? Will Kira let Isaak know that his ex-wife is there with Ivy?  Aria Ford has created such wonderful characters in Ivy who is the sweetest of little girls, Kira who is passionate, caring, loving and forgiving, Jade who is a manipulative and dangerous woman, Connor who is a great friend to Isaak and Isaak who has been damaged by Jade’s behaviour and who really hates being the monster that he is through his lack of trust in humanity.  The storyline is great and quite believable [apart from the time frame which takes place over a matter of days].  I enjoyed this story and give it five stars as it is so well written. The complexities and characterisation with the short novel are excellent as I can almost ‘see’ who they are. I would have liked an epilogue to see how they were doing in a year and 5 years time to see how they were doing.  The attraction between Isaak and Kira is powerful and the air is charged when they are together and the sexual scenes between them are beautifully written and you will need to switch your fans to maximum as you’re reading those!  A really good plot and characters that made me sit up and I so wanted Jade to get her comeuppance.  Get this book and enjoy!

Whilst the chemistry between them is undeniable it takes trust and Aria weaves her story so that I was completely engrossed and didn’t put it down until I had finished it. A real MUST HAVE read that will keep you entertained and unwilling to put it down till you’ve reached the end. I look forward to Aria’s next story.
