Show Stopper to Chef!
I know that I should write my reviews in the order of the books but I’ve just finished reading all five books in this 12 days of Christmas Series by Blyth Reid, Ali Parker, Weston parker and Zoey Reid. These books can all be read as standalones so don’t worry,although I did read them in the correct order and have loved each one. In this episode, we meet Addison who is a ballerina and is being stalked by creepy drew who is the producer. She is really a wee bit too old and curvy in all the right places but not for a ballerina, for the role in Nutcracker but she plays it exquisitely regardless. We also meet Colton who is so easy to love. He ambition is to be a chef with his own restaurant. However, his luck so far hasn’t been so great as his boss thought he would serve him better with his good looks as a stripper rather than sweating over a creme brulee! Addison is distracted one day as she’s looking at her phone and she bumps into the handsome Colton but she’s rather rude to him and just leaves him. They later meet again when her hateful co-workers sabotage her and she has to share a dressing room with Colton. It’s after his performance that he comes to her rescue and plays the role of hero for her. This is when their attraction towards each other blossoms although Addison needs to get her head around the fact that so many women see his body and will Colton be able to follow his dream and become a chef as he is trained to be? With these four writers Blythe, Ali, Weston and Zoey [who is a new writer to me with this series], I strongly recommend that you get book 1 and work through them as I have and enjoy them as much! Plenty of passion to keep you warm too!
