Office Fling: A Single Dad Baby Romance by Amy Brent & Candy Gray

   A Good Short Story Of Unexpected Love

McKenna is on the run from her obsessive and abusive ex and so she is using a fake name and trying to keep clear of him. She managed to get a good job cleaning.  But one night the CEO of the company, Rafael, sees her and is entranced by her beauty.  he’s just been given his little son, Dom, and has had trouble with the boy’s mother, his ex.  The next day at work Rafael tries to find out more about McKenna but what he does find out is that she is using a false name. Is she a corporate spy? To discover the truth he calls for her and she is worried that the CEO wants to see her.  When she gets there she explains about her abusive ex and Rafael is determined to protect her  as he feels so attracted to her. certainly the chemistry between them is scorching and to find out what happens you’re going to have to get your own copy.  Will McKenna get on with his son? Will her crazy ex find her and take her back? Will Rafael and McKenna become a couple and find happiness? This is a short story and there are numerous bonus materials included. I do enjoy Amy Brent and Candy Gray stories but I don’t think the beta readers or her editor really checked all the wording as there were quite a few ‘mistakes’ that did make it ‘uncomfortable’ to read at times, and so spoilt an otherwise interesting story which is a shame.

  Welcome To The Family!

Oh boy have Amy Brent and Candy Gray conjured up for us this very sexy read about two strangers who meet at an auction where ten girls, including Emery, are auctioning off their virginities, and Sebastian makes the winning bid of  $70, 000!  They spend a night that is beautiful, lust filled, hot and sizzling with passion but she leaves the next day without exchanging details.  He had noticed her the night before when he was out with his friend and been attracted to her then.  He wants more than just one night from her but how on earth is he going to find her?  Imagine his surprise when he goes to visit his Dad and new step mum and Emery answers the door! I don’t know who was the more shocked but I do know that this can’t be the end of them as this is a book written by Amy and Candy and they are famous for their passionate stories with red hot lovers, a few twists, seemingly magical chemistry between Emery and Sebastian and for delivering superb HEAs.  So well written that I was totally engaged form page one to the very last.  This is one story that I will be buying on pay day as I will be re-reading it as it’s so good. I really encourage you to get this love filled story and enjoy like I did.  I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

My Best Friend’s Brother by Candy Gray

  He Chased Her Till She Caught Him!

OH wow are you in for a treat with this story by Candy Gray! My Best Friend’s brother was a bit confusing to me at first but as the story unfolds it will all make sense to you. Mason is a successful businessman but he has had his name wrongly involved in some scandals so he is now trying to win back his good name and so is agreeing to interviews. He is asked to do an interview with Sarah, our feisty and stunningly gorgeous heroine in this story. When she meets him she is very attracted to him but she’s not going to be a conquest for him! He is instantly in lust with her and after the interview he asks her out. She refuses and he is so confused as he can tell that she’s into him and he’s not used to being turned down! This continues for some time but the n he is very sneaky and acquires her personal number and he is relentless in calling her. Eventually she succumbs and agrees to a date so he is going to have to make it memorable and satisfying if there will be a second date. Don’t worry – he does and with bells on it as they say!! This is cleverly written as Candy draws you into the story straight away and keeps you on the edge of the seat as I waited to find out what else he was going to do to cajole her into dating him and the dialogue and chemistry between them was off the charts. So very charming that Sarah really couldn’t say no to him and not regret it. But this isn’t the end of the story as there is a twist that makes this even more enjoyable and the fun read that it is. You need to get this book as I did and enjoy this great story. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book. However, I also got this by KU and the bonus material is well worth the price of the book too and a great read!
