More Than He Expected!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I confess that I struggled to read how awful Ryland was during the first few chapters. He was so awful I didn’t see how I could possibly like him even by the end of the book, but I do! There are so many issues that he has in this really good book by Drea Blackery. Drea is a new author to me but I will certainly be looking for more of her stories after reading this one. However, his character does develop and change, all for the better I hasten to add, as the story progresses. Allie’s influence on him was not expected by me at all and it was wonderful to see how he reacted to her. Their story going back 10 years was fascinating and with the twists and turns within the story ands the full blown chemistry between the two made for a really steamy romance that I’m pleased that I stuck with the story. Looking forward to her next story.
