Ashton Drake (Aurum Court Dragons Book 1) by Emilia Hartley

Can Ashton & His Dragon With Makenna Over? A Fabulous Romance.

This is the first book in the fabulous new series, Aurum Court Dragons, by the wonderful author, Emilia Hartley. This is a terrific start with fabulous characters in Ashton, a dragon shifter, and Makenna, his childhood sweetheart and human. He left to go work in the family bank in the city thinking this would give her the opportunity to forge her career as a singer. She just felt that he had abandoned her! She has to come back because of her aunt’s illness and to pay for her debts for care. Ashton is recalled to their home town as the court is worried about the king. Ashton is also concerned with his sanity as he is having considerable trouble controlling his dragon. But as soon as he sees Makenna, his dragon calms as it recognises their mate. But Makenna doesn’t want anything to do with him as she is working three jobs to pay off the debt and she doesn’t trust him. These two are just so good together that they simply MUST find a way back to being a couple. With such a terrific storyline and it being so well written, this page turning book will keep you engrossed from first to last page. I look forward to reading book 2. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Most definitely recommended

The Shifter’s Matchmaker: Books 1 – 4 by Emilia Hartley

A Superb Paranormal Shifter Collection Of Love

Emilia Hartley is one of the USA’s best selling authors for paranormal romances. This is one superb collection that is a MUST HAVE READ as it contains all four bear shifter romances [my personal favourites] and contains the following four books :-
Book 1 – The Bear’s Matchmaker – in this we meet bear shifters, and a selkie. Ophelia, Lia, is not happy to have three bear shifters vying for her attention but her sister Nessa, encourages her to have romance – but with Miles! He’s a bit of a playboy and another bear shifter to boot. But, oh my, Miles is Her One! I also was introduced to a selkie shifter which was most illuminating and just that bit different to add interest. I loved Miles and Lia’s story as there was plenty of sparks between therm and they were such fun in their interactions together. is in trouble.
Book 2 – Her True Alpha Mate – He had a failed attempt to get the selkie’s skin and he thinks that his pack don’t trust him anymore and that there is going to be a revolt. When Monica, a made panther shifter from another pack is set up by Nessa to be his mate, he really thinks things are just getting worse. But then he meets her and she makes him laugh and feel better than he has done in his whole life. She is also gorgeous, feisty and s@xy as heck! What could go wrong?is a fox shifter and loves the 1950’s styles except being for being a ‘perfect 1950’s wife’!  She doesn’t want a fox shifter as a mate and husband –  definitely not for her. So when the matchmaker suggests she have a date with an alpha male bear shifter she is very surprised to say the least!  But Oscar is gorgeous and there is just something about him…  When he asks her for help she can’t stop herself from saying YES.
Book 3 – Her Alpha Mis
match – Regina is a fox shifter and loves the 1950’s styles except being for being a ‘perfect 1950’s wife’! Oscar and Regina are just so good together with plenty of passion and fun!
Book 4 – Her Enchanted Alpha Match – VERIFIED PURCHASE – Nessa is a terrific matchmaker for shifters.  But not so great for herself.  She is a cat shifter and is very content in many ways.  Caz is all alpha male and a bear shifter at that so he must be brutal – mustn’t he?  But when she has trouble with her car and goes to his garage for help she finds out that he isn’t at all like she thought. In fact, he is rather nice!  She’d like to go out with him. But there’s a problem in the form of a wicked witch who wants him for herself and she will be mad if Nessa doesn’t get him to go out with her instead! Now you don’t have to read them all or in order to enjoy them but it makes much more sense to do so as there is a build up of the timeline and the interactions of the characters. Absolutely superb. I can’t recommend this too much. I received a reader’s copy of this collection and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!

Polar Bear Christmas by Emilia Hartley

What A Fabulous Ending To The Series! A Must Have Read!!!

Holly is a human much to the disgust of her family who are all reindeer shifters. They have not treat her well and she has basically be snubbed and bullied because of this. So naturally she has tried to avoid being with them as much as possible but her mother has other ideas for Christmas and pretty much makes it clear that she must be at ‘home’ for the season. She then meets polar bear shifter and good guy/hot guy and totally swoon worthy Claus who is after one of her unpleasant cousins. Now there is attraction between them and they make a deal for him to pretend to be her boyfriend when she goes home and then he will get access to her cousin. This is a fast paced romance with suspicion and passion. Holly really likes Claus so much but after all the abuse from her family over the years she doesn’t believe that Claus could really be interested in her as he will leave as soon as he finds his mate. How dopes Claus really feel towards her and do they stand a chance at HEA? So beautifully written by that wonderful author, Emilia Hartley who really knows how to draw you into her stories and to like her characters. Claus and Holly were such nice people and she really needed to find happiness and to believe in her own worth with someone who loves her. I enjoyed this story very much – just as I did all the other books in the series. This can be read as a standalone. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. However, as I enjoyed the story so much and to support the author, I purchased my own copy as it is just so good! Most Definitely Recommended

To Tame a Bear (Lumberjack Bears Book 4) by Emilia Hartley

A Very Protective Alpha Mate For Aimee

This is the latest, and fourth book, in the Lumberjack Bears Series by the terrific paranormal author, Emilia Hartley.  having said that, this could easily be read as a standalone although to have read the others will give you a better appreciation of the characters and what is going on.  Aimee and her best friend have left the overbearing Den that her friend’s father ran with a rule of rod.  Aimee is now extremely happy cooking at Don’s restaurant and there is a mutual attraction between them that they can’t ignore and, quite frankly, they don’t want to ignore it.  However, Dom is all grizzly bear male shifter and his shifter alpha male instincts are very possessive of her and want to protect her and treasure her as she is so ‘delicate’?  This is the one thing they disagree about.  Can she persuade him and his bear that all he needs to do is love her?  A wonderful read that I read in one go. It is a real page turner with delightful characters that was so easy to ‘warm’ to them.  A thoroughly enjoyable story and fits perfectly with the rest of the series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!

To Trust the Bear (Lumberjack Bears Book 3) by Emilia Hartley

Will They Get A Second Chance Of Love?

This is the story of Callie and Morgan who are both bear shifters [my favourites] and how her father’s lies had broken them up many years ago.  He is the leader of their Clan and forces Morgan and others to leave and Callie is heart broken as she believes that Morgan cheated on her.  But when her father wants her to bring back some of the shifters who left with Morgan she discovers so many things she believed to be true, were not – especially about Morgan.  This is the third book in the Lumberjack Bears  by the best selling author Emilia Hartley and I really enjoyed it as you can probably tell.  Such fabulously developed characters and a storyline that is just that bit different and certainly  maintained my attention form first to last page.   I look forward to more of Emilia’s stories. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Definitely recommended.

Her Enchanted Alpha Match (Matchmaker Book 4) by Emilia Hartley

  Finding Her Own Fated Mate

Nessa is a terrific matchmaker for shifters.  But not so great for herself.  She is a cat shifter and is very content in many ways.  Caz is all alpha male and a bear shifter at that so he must be brutal – mustn’t he?  But when she has tyrouble with her car and goes to his garage for help she finds out that he isn’t at all like she thought. In fact, he is rather nice!  She’d like to go out with him. But there’s a problem in the form of a wicked witch who wants him for herself and she will be mad if Nessa doesn’t get him to go out with her instead!.  Beautifully written by Emilia Hartley who is a fabulous paranormal author whose books I ‘discovered’ a couple of years ago and I’ve been reading them ever since as they are just so well written with great storylines and fascinating characters.  I loved ‘meeting’ Nessa and Caz and they were just so good together. The air seemed to practically sizzle whenever they were together.  I love bear shifter stories, in particular, and I think this is the best one yet so I really do encourage you to read this for yourself.  I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review.  SO good that I bought my own copy so that I could re-read it again and support the author

Most definitely recommended!  I’m now looking forward to Emilia’s next book.

Her Alpha Mismatch (Matchmaker Book 3) by Emilia Hartley

  The Alpha Needs Her Help

Regina is a fox shifter and loves the 1950’s styles except being for being a ‘perfect 1950’s wife’! Emilia Hartley knows exactly how to draw me into her stories [and since she is a top US best selling author, it’s obviously not just me who loves her stories].  Her storylines are unique and the way she she builds her characters right in front of you so that you feel as if you almost know them.  Oscar and Regina are just so good together with plenty of passion and fun!  As Oscar was my favourite type of paranormal creature, a bear shifter, I was naturally looking forward to reading the book but it was so much more than just him and a thoroughly good story!  I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Javier (Lost Wolves #3) by Emilia Hartley

  Such A Wonderful Series!

Emilia Hartley has composed this third book in the Lost Wolves Series and I have read each one and enjoyed them all. What is especially good for me is that characters from the first book keep making appearances in the second and third so it is nice to see how their lives are progressing.  Such well developed characters in Javier and Nora who is a widow. But having met Javier she will do all that she can to help him and work towards their HEA.  There is drama and angst but all put together so beautifully that the love between them and their family flows so well and rounds this series off very nicely. I would recommend that you read each one of the books and in order to appreciate them at their best. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Definitely recommended – get your copy now!

Rhylan (Lost Wolves, #2) by Emilia Hartley

  These Two Wolves belong Together

This continues the wonderful series by Emilia Hartley. In this book we meet Rhylan who doesn’t know how or if he can explain to his family and friends that he has been turned into a wolf shifter.  he meets the maid in the hotel, Thalia, and she is the daughter of the local alpha and they are both very attracted to each other. But she is to be married and the shifter is on his way.  Do Rhylan and Thalia stand a chance of a happy ever after together as these two wolves seem perfect for each other?  So well written by Emilia who is an expert in writing about the paranormal and draws you into her stories so easily.  I have read each book in the series in order and have enjoyed each and every one of them – especially as characters form prior books keep appearing and so we get to ‘glimpse’ how their own HEA’s are progressing.  Great story! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Jax by Emilia Hartley

    Finding His Mate

Emilia Hartley is one of the names that I always think of when I here ‘paranormal’ as her shifter stories are fantastic. With well developed characters that I love [or detest if they’re the bad guy] and terrific storylines.   In this story we meet Jax who is a wolf shifter who has left his pack after failing to protect his Alpha [well as far as he is concerned he failed].  This is a spin off series from The Outcast Bears series which I LOVED.  Sydney is a detective and has been told she must find clues to help solve three murders that seem to be totally unrelated. This is how she comes across Jax who is a loner, very sexy, mysterious and no one knows much about him.  Jax is very drawn to this feisty female but he knows something that she doesn’t, as yet., and that is that she is his mate!  The attraction between them is off the charts and the intimate scenes between them will maybe make your Kindle melt.  Such a great story and I rooted for these two right from their first meeting.  Will Sydney solve the murders?  Will she put herself in danger? What will she do when she finds out that Jax is a shifter? Surely she can’t believe that Jax is the murderer??  To find our this and more you’ll need to get your own copy and enjoy the suspenseful romance. I’m really looking forward to book 2 in this fabulous new series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
