A Fabulous Collection!

This is a fabulous collection of three stories b y Eva Luxe and Juliana Conners who are both top USA best selling authors that I really enjoy reading their stories.  In their own right, they are terrific authors but together they are unstoppable!  I strongly urge you to try this collection  as I found them all to be very entertaining and HOT! My individual reviews of each story are below:

Don’t Worry Baby: – Ugly Duckling To Swan  29 April 2018 – Hailey was what some would call a nerd in high school wearing glasses, overweight and not conventionally beautiful.  She is asked to help tutor Nick who is the hottest guy in school and a jock – who she also has a major crush on but he doesn’t even notice her. After high school he goes on to play for the Miami Sharks football team and is very successful and it is at a party of his team mates that he meets a stunning young woman .  Little does he realise that this young woman is Hailey – all grown up and a beauty for all to see. She is still insecure and doesn’t tell him who she is since he hasn’t recognised her. They go on a date and it is fantastic and the chemistry is so HOT between them that they have sex and he takes her v-card.  When she then tells him who she is, he freaks out and thinks that she is stalking him!  So she avoids him and he realises that he’s been a major fool.  All seems to be going well for them when she realises something that will change their lives forever. But, bearing in mind his reaction to finding out her real name she is scared to tell him her secret!  This is Eva Luxe and Juliana Conners continuing to be a fantastic author duo and giving us another story of the Miami Sharks football team stories.  I love these two authors on their own but writing together, they are unbeatable.  I loved Hailey and thought she was such a nice young woman who really didn’t need all the insecurities that she had.  Nick, however, was an immature and often arrogant jerk who needed to be taken down a peg or two and appreciate the good in those around him!!  By the end of the story – yes, I did like him though I still thought that Hailey could have done so much better for herself. I do encourage you to get a copy for yourself so that you can find out what Nick will do when he finds out Hailey’s secret, will they get their own HEA or are they doomed to not be together??

Harper has commitment issues because of her past and she doesn’t usually stay anywhere too long.  But she really enjoy’s working at the restaurant owned by Caden and the staff there.  She and Caden are friends but no more.  He is called to California for the reading of his grandmother’s will.  And it is there that he finds out that he will become a billionaire as long as he is married. Otherwise it goes to his ‘dooche’ cousin, Cadem, So when he gets back to Seattle, he tells Harper the conditi ons of the will and so she agrees to be his fake fiancée so that he can inherit.  he accepts her offer as he really does like her anyway and they begin spending more time together to add authenticity for him to inherit.  But what happens as they spend more time together??  FEELINGS!!  That’s what!  The attraction between them has always been there but they never acted upon it as they didn’t want to spoil their working relationship.  This is one heck of a romance by Eva Luxe that you’re probably going to re-read in the future as it is just so good!  Caden is a bit of a jerk at the beginning but he soon becomes worthy of Harper.  With Harper’s commitment phobia will she lower her defenses as they become closer.  Will she be able to ignore the sparks that sizzle between them whenever they’re together??  Can he resist her?? Does he want to resist her?  This book is FUN and Eva has created such fantastic hero and heroine for us to root for and enjoy their journey towards a their own HEA.  But all is not going to go smoothly, but can they overcome all obstacles??  To find out of all these answers you need to get your own copy and enjoy!  Be ready to have your phone switched off, your fan/air con set to MAX COOL and settle down for this wonderful romance.  Looking forward, as ever, for her next story! I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest review of it here.

Lucky Bunny: An Easter Billionaire Fake Fiance Romance by Eva Luxe, Sizzling Hot Reads

   A Great Chit Lit Short Story!

Tessa is a passionate young, feisty young woman who cares deeply and owns a school for children with Special Educational Needs which is her life.  one day the fire alarm rings and she hurries to the room where the fire has broken out. She runs outside and helps the children escape through the window but it is up to the firefighters to save her best friend who is trapped in the classroom.  The fire is classed as arson by her insurance company so she has no money to rebuild her school and she is devastated.  Whatever can she do to get sufficient money quick enough to rebuild??  She hears about the Bunny Ranch where women sell their bodies for money. This aspect of the story I did find extremely hard to reconcile with her character but it fits the story so I can ignore my musings about this. She is a virgin so should get a high price.  When she goes there she is spotted by Ben who is a playboy and whose father won’t let him gain his inheritance until he proves that he is trustworthy and in a stable relationship.  He knows that Tessa is just going to be perfect!  They strike a deal where he will pay her $5 million if she agrees to be his fake wife but they are to have a very REAL honeymoon!  I like Eva Luxe’s style of writing. This is one of her shorter stories but it is just as well written.  Tessa is a fabulous character – such a selfless young woman who cares more for others than taking care of herself.  Ben is a bit of a jerk at the beginning of the story but by the end I thought he was just perfect for Tessa as he had matured so much.  The lust then passion then love that comes between them is just right and fits beautifully within the plot. It is nicely paced and with an ending that left me smiling and happy.  I urge you to get your own copy and enjoy it as much as I did. Don’t Walk Away by Eva Luxe, Juliana Conners

   Maturity

This is the latest story by Eva Luxe and Juliana Conners. They are both fabulous writers on their own behalf, but together they’re unbeatable!  In this story, we meet Kyle [who comes off as a petulant brat] and Maya. Now Kyle is a twin and his twin is Kira who Maya’s brother, Jacob, is in love with.  The story starts when they are at college and Kyle is outraged that Jacob is picked out to go pro with the Sharks but Kyle wasn’t.  He is so mad that he breaks up with Maya, and stops being friends with Jacob who has been his best friend for  along time. Kyle just can’t get over himself which made me not really like him particularly – he certainly isn’t very mature and needs a reality check on how good he really is!  Anyway, time passes and Jacob gets him to come watch him practice and that’s when he sees Maya again as she is cheer leading for the team.  But things aren’t always as smooth as they seem.  Maya has a stalker.  Eventually there is a happy ending and Kyle has grown up and realised that he doesn’t just get everything handed on a plate to him. He and Maya [once he’s changed] are really good for each other and I loved the storyline which is just that bit different to similar college stories that I’ve read. The characters are great and well developed [or in Kyles case become].  I did enjoy this story though I don’t know what happened to the stalk? Please let me know.   Love Makes The World  A better Place

Paige is a feisty young woman who is a private investigator with a degree that she does not use in her line of work.  She is given a job by multi billionaire, Mr Kent, who says there is a thief stealing money form his business and he wants her to find out who it is.  The trail, is easy to follow and she is surprised and confused by this job as most of the work has already been done for her.  She is wary and discovers that the ‘thief’ is Zach. Now Zach and his mum escaped form his father’s clutches when he was a teenager as he was an abusive man. Unfortunately, the impact of the abuse lead to his mum committing suicide when he was 14 years old. He now lives in a cabin in the mountains with only one window and he keeps to himself – he goes to work as a lumberjack and occasionally has a one night stand but has never had a relationship until he meets Paige.  She is feisty, curvy and intelligent and stunning and they are instantly mutually attracted to each other.  he asks her out and, for once, he begins a relationship with her.  More surprises occur and Paige is more and more concerned as to why Mr Kent employed her to find out the thief as she trusts Zach.  This is one terrific story and yes, with instant attraction you may think that is all it’s going to be about with lots of hot, sexy scenes and a HEA. But you’d be wrong!  Don’t get me wrong as there are lots of red, hot sexy scenes with plenty of passion but there is a very real underlining plot that is weaving it’s way through the book too and is well worth the read.  The included extra stories are amazing too so please read those too when you get your copy.  I hope you enjoy this story and all the others as much as I did.  I do like Eva Luxe’s writing style and the genre that she writes for. her attention to details all helps to bring the story to ‘life’ with believable characters and interesting twists and turns and, of course, a wonderful HEA!  I received a free reader’s copy and leave my honest opinion of the book here.

Bride Wanted: A Virgin and Billionaire Fake Fiancé Romance by Eva Luxe, Juliana Conners

   She Needed Him To Rescue Her

This is another book in the Wanted Series by Eva Luxe and Juliana Conners.  It is a standalone story with two lovers who were high school sweethearts but broken up by lies.  Wendy and her dad are having hard times since his accident and she is desperate when she meets Eliza.  She is a ‘matchmaker’ of sorts for wealthy clients and says that she knows that she can help Wendy and very soon.  Meanwhile, Sam who is her high school sweetheart is now very wealthy following an accident and wise investments but he needs a wife to finalise a contract and he goes to Eliza for assistance.  yes, you’ve guessed it!  Sam and Wendy are paired.  Now I’m not going to give away any spoilers as I don’t write anywhere near as well as Eva and Juliana so I won’t even try.  What you can expect is a sweet love story with secrets, danger, a crazed ex, fraud, a very religious partner and a HEA.  Eva and Juliana are superb authors who really know how to draw you into their storyline, they give you characters such as Sam and Wendy that you like and want to get their HEA, they also give you some very interesting twists and turns that will keep you on the edges of your seats as well as reaching for the fan to set to MAX COOL during the red hot love scenes. Sam will make you swoon as he is just so gorgeous both inside and out and Wendy deserves to have happiness. I was so pleased the way things turned out for her dad and with what happened to Sam’s original partner. I encourage you without reservation to grab yourself a copy of this book and I hope you enjoy the story as much as I have.  This is a story that I will be re-reading as it’s so good.  Remember also that there are some extra bonus stories too that are there for you to enjoy too!  I’ll be buying a copy of this on pay day! I received a free readers copy of this book and leave my honest opinion of it here.

Don’t Come Around Here: A Bad Boy Next Door Romance by Eva Luxe, Juliana Conners

  A Second Chance At Love?

This is the newest in the “Don’t” series by Eva Luxe and Juliana Conners.  I have enjoyed reading books written by this pairing of terrific authors before and I enjoy their writing styles that complement one another and make for flowing stories that transport you to the worlds of the characters in the book and their descriptions are so well defined that I can almost ‘picture’ what they look like and their personalities within the books.  In this one, we meet Brad and Carly. who were high school sweethearts and very much in love until her father went ballistic and dragged Carly form Brad and his mum’s home. I’m just surprised that they didn’t call the police on the man as he wasn’t behaving rationally. Anyway, because of her father’s threats they have to keep away from each other.  he goes off and becomes has a very successful sporting career which is what he wanted and Carly goes to college.  Six years go by and they both happen to be in town at the same time. As soon as they see each other, they realise that their feelings haven’t changed and they are now mature enough to ‘fight’ for their love. But to make their romance easier they keep it low key. However, the press find out that Brad is home and they camp outside his home.  What’s now going to happen to their possible HEA?  I did like how Brad wasn’t just a womanising jock and he took responsibility for himself and his actions and was ready to prove to Carly how deep his love for her is and how he will do anything to give them a chance at happiness. There is plenty of hot sizzling intimate scenes that you will need to have your fans at the ready to switch to maximum force as they are STEAMING!  I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.  However, as I loved the story so much, I bought my own copy and am now enjoying the bonus material included!  So get yourself a copy of this and enjoy reading their journey to a possible HEA!
