Jack is A Character That You’ll Love!
Guila Lagomarsino is a new author to me and I am so pleased that I ‘discovered’ her on Booksprout. This is a romantic comedy [what can make a story better?] that had me laughing out loud and loving Jack. They meet by the side of the road and the chemistry between them is explosive. This is a wonderful find and I read it right the way through in one go [forgoing sleep as I just had to find out what happened to them]. With plenty of witty banter as well as humour peppered throughout the book . He has some great friends and she is a bit of a klutz. However, one thing happens after they break up that really put me off Harper. They get back together because he loves her so much. This part did spoil the story for me as it left me with so many questions that were never answered and , to be honest, I didn’t really ‘feel’ her love for him. I did, however, enjoy Guila’s writing style very much and look forward to reading more of her books. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Definitely recommended
