Unbroken: Virgin and Bad Boy Second Chance Romance by Haley Pierce

A Chance To  Make Things Right

Geni never got over her first love, Silas St Clair, but he left their hometown and is a successful NFL quarterback for the Pittsburg Steelers.  She always wanted to leave but is still working in Billy’s bar. When Silas has an injury the last thing she expects is for him to come home to heal.  But he does as he’s never forgotten her either.  Haley Pierce has created this fantastic romantic comedy for us letting us in on so many of their secrets and misunderstandings that tore them apart but can they overcome them or is it too late for a second chance at love and a HEA??  This is a fast paced story that you will not want to put down Silas and Geni are just so suited and obviously belong together and I really enjoyed the journey of their story.  Both complex characters that were totally believable and endearing. As it’s one of Haley’s stories there is bound to be some steamy scenes that you’ll need your fans set to max cool and be prepared to laugh out loud.  A really witty and sweet story that I’ll be wanting to read again. If this is the first story that you’ve read by her then this will certainly make you a fan too.  I encourage you to get yourself a copy and prepare yourself to relax and enjoy. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Unlearned: Virgin and Professor Romance Kindle Edition by Haley Pierce

Looking Forward To Her Next Story!

This is an exceptionally well written story that is not a ‘light and fluffy’ piece to read. There is actually a very dark side in this story about a young woman, Addison, who is 21 and at college doing pre-med because her controlling and abusive mother, Mrs McBride, says so. If this is a trigger that could upset you then I would avoid this story, which would be a great shame as I really was impressed by Haley Pierce’s writing skills showcased here. Addison is from a wealthy family and so controlled that at 21 years old she is still taken and collected form college! has a curfew of 10 pm which many high schools don’t, but should, have. She takes a short English course on creative writing for herself and this is where she meets Dr Cain Hill, her professor who really wants to go back to full time writing but he hasn’t met his inspiration till he sees Addison. Their love affair could be seen as so taboo but, in actual fact, he is the catalyst to helping her escape from her mother’s clutches. Passionate scenes are very hot but sensitively written and add to the full experience of Addison breaking away from the controlling behaviour and starting to live her life. I found this a book that I couldn’t put down and I will be looking forward to reading more of her stories in the future.

DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED.
