  So Much More Than Just A Red Hot Romance!

The gang from high school was ; Max, Kate, Dev, Carson, Kyle, Rachel, Wes and Matt.  Something happened and they have a secret that needs to stay a secret.  Max and Kate are sweethearts, fell in love, got engaged right after high school and were all set to marry each other when she got a note. As a result she left max at the altar without a word to anyone and flew to London leaving him bewildered and heart broken.  Fast forward ten years and they get the news that Dev has died and this brings them all back together.  As they grieve for they friend they all all threatened that unless they do as the blackmailer wants, then he/she will reveal all to everyone.  Let me say first of all, that I have loved reading Holly Hart’s stories but this one has has really upped my expectation.  This wonderful romantic romance is so much more than Holly  has composed for us before and I am delighted!!  I loved this second chance romance with Max and Kate and the romance and chemistry between them is so hot, just as I’d expect from Holly.  But the angst as the friends try to work out who is blackmailing them and who is the murderer?? Long forgotten anxieties from high school all come back and smack them in the face!  WOW – this is a MUST READ!!!  Yes- it lead to loss of sleep for me but I don’t care as it was totally worth it.  I’m even more anxious to read Holly’s next romantic adventure.  No spoilers – but I haven’t said much about the romance and let me tell you that it was HOT and fitted perfectly into the story and you will need your fans/ air con in full working order!  I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

The Experiment by Holly Hart

  Exceptional Writing!

Oh My Gosh!  Holly Hart has penned a real blockbuster here in this fabulously intense, emotional, suspenseful, mystery and unexpected romance.  Brandon’s company seems to be having some trouble but he can’t work out who is causing it. he feels as if he is being followed and when his plane crashes, but he survives he doesn’t know who to trust or what to believe. So he pretends that he has died and lies low whilst trying to solve the mystery. Meanwhile, Lily is in a rock band and is just starting her first holiday for years so she is really set to enjoy the next three weeks.  She’s going to be completely away form her slime-ball of a manager, Wayne, who has been abusing her for years and actually is saved by Brandon who lives next door from a beating by Wayne.  Can these two troubled souls find safety and love with one another? Can Brandon solve the mystery of who is trying to take over his company? What can they do about Lily’s sleazy manager? Will they find happiness together?  This is a very different story form Holly’s usual style but I LOVE IT!!!  I can’t wait to read more in her next book!  get a copy of this and enjoy!!  I received a free reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion here.

Big Mountain Daddy by B.B. Hamel

  He Built His Own Prison For Himself!

B. B. Hamel is a terrific author who pens the most beautifully written stories. Her exceptional command of the English language enhances her storylines all the more and creates the perfect atmospheres and descriptions for her characters.  In this story we meet feisty Mia, a journalist, who is sent by her boss to interview Ethan who is a mutli billionaire who was a very successful businessman until he seemed to ‘drop off the face of the earth’ when a tragic accident happens at his firm and seven men are killed .  Mia is intrigued by the lack of real info about him available on the Net and knows what she needs to find out.The attraction between the two of them is sky high and at the end of the interview they end up in his bedroom. Passion beyond anything either had felt before occurred but the next day he is gone. But he has left a part of him with her! Two months later she has to find him and she ends up in the mountainous wilderness at the beginning of a snow storm. But they are not alone [and I don’t mean his gorgeous dog by that remark!]  All is not as it seems and they have to work together, with an unexpected ally, to save their lives!  Will they all reach safety and can Ethan and Mia feel safe?  To find out this and much more you need to get a copy of this book. I was given an advanced readers copy and leave my honest review of it here. However, I enjoyed it so much [especially the hot and steamy scenes and the suspense or will they or won’t they die] that I bought my own copy and have just finished reading the superb bonus materials too!!

The Deal by Holly Hart

  She’s Worth Breaking Our Deal

Holly Hart has such a fantastic gift with words and she puts this to excellent usage in creating her storylines then embellishing them with terrific characters and twists and turns PLUS, of course, plenty of lust, attraction, passionate encounters, steam, heat and love making all woven into great novels for us to enjoy. The Deal is all that and so much more.  Basically three billionaires, Erik, Jack and Magnus, all have secrets but they do have needs and only women can fulfill this for them. They strike a deal but then a woman called Stella puts everything in chaos.  For Stella, Jack will break his deal with Erik and Magnus as she is beyond beautiful bot inside and outside and he cannot get enough of her. But Jack has PTSD apart from all his other secrets. But Stella herself has secrets and she is being watched over. But when those two are together the temperature rises and you’ll need your fans set to max cool.  It is a fast paced easy flowing read that kept me riveted from beginning to end.  I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book. This is a must have read and I encourage you to get a copy for yourself.

However, as I enjoyed this so much I have purchased my own copy and there are bonus stories for me to enjoy too!

  Which Twin Will ‘Win’ ?

Jermey is running his late father’s company. He never wanted to. In fact, hi twin brother Evan used to run it but his behaviour became somewhat alarming, doing things that he shouldn’t have done and he ended up in jail for 6 years.  In their father’s will there is a caveat that the first twin to have a legitimate heir and married would inherit the company and everything.  Jermey doesn’t want to give up all his hard work to his evil brother Evan. His assistant knows of just the right young woman for him: her niece Caitlin Appelet.  He explains the situation to Caitlin and she is agreeable to marrying him and having a child together as soon as possible.  What Jeremy doesn’t know is that Caitlin is very attracted to him and what she doesn’t know is that he is extremely attracted to her too!!  meanwhile evil Evan has managed to blackmail a woman into marrying him and bearing a child.  But who will give birth first??  Tara Wylde and Holly Hart are a fantastic pairing of authors.  Both terrific authors in their own rite and together- they are unbeatable!  With great characters [I loved Jeremy and Cailin] and a great ‘baddy’ in Evan! Passions are soaring between Jeremy and Caitlin and they are just so perfect for each other 🙂  The storyline is unique to anything that I have read before which I really appreciated as there are only so many combinations to make a romance but these two manage to do it every time with aplomb. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book. A brilliant story that I thoroughly enjoyed so much that I’ve bought my own copy and am going to settle myself down tonight to now read the bonus stories!!!!!

Dr Naughty: A Doctor’s Baby Romance by Tara Wylde, Holly Hart

   A Love Emerges Unexpectedly

Holly hart and Tara Wylde are a fantastic powerful combination of authors – on their own they are powerful but together they are unstoppable. With this latest book, Dr Naughty, we meet James who is a multi billionaire medical doctor who is working on a cure for cancer and thinks he is almost there. But James has a problem as he has no relationship and has just woken up from a weekend and he can’t remember what he did at all. Total blank and it’s scared him. He calls for an Uber and meets Diane. Diane is scared that he’s going to be sick all over her car. She is a young woman that has not had an easy life and is only doing this as she is just so close to completing her physics degree but money is scarce. The company that he started is run by investors who want to unseat him off the Board and this latest escapade of his is giving them all the ammunition they want as there is a morality clause which will cost him his company. He is given one last chance and told he needs to settle down, find a wife that’s appropriate and all will be well. He immediately thinks of Diane and gets in touch with her and, at first, she thinks that he is joking but he persuades her by telling her all his problems. So if she will agree to marry him and live with him then he will give her $1 million at the end of the year, so she agrees as this will help her too finish her degree and monetary issues. they marry and settle into a routine and start to really learn things about each other and emotions develop. But there are sinister forces at play and all is not as it seems. Will James lose his company and the possible sure and what will happen to him and Diane? She has a secret but what will he do if and or when he finds out? The characters of James and Diane are wonderful. The way that we see the transformations in James as the story develops and how Diane’s influence has such a profound influence on him. As I read the book I could see how their feelings for one another were emerging and there were some fantastic hot and steamy scenes between the two of them and also the caring and protective ways that James showed that he cared for her. I also enjoyed the humour between the two of them. The suspense with what was happening behind the scenes was really tense and all together Holly and Tara made a terrific story with love emerging, suspense, maturity and a plot that really was a show case for their talented writing skills. I love this story and bought a copy of it under the name Miss Behave which I will re-read as it is so good. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

The Baby Clause: A Christmas Romance by Tara Wylde (Author),‎ Holly Hart

    A Sweet Romance

Oh it was so easy to decide that this is a five star read as it is sweet with believable characters , Paul and Lara. What is extra nice, for a change, is that Paul is a really good guy not all inked up and with a womanising past and maybe a criminal record. He desperately wants a wife and family but he just hasn’t met the ‘right’ woman yet. Whilst on business in Chicago he goes to a pub and meets the lovely Lara who owns the pub. The attraction between them is undeniable and they have a spectacular night of passion together. They decide to remain friends and keep in touch. They part and are getting on with their separate lives but still thinking of the other when Lara makes a discovery that will change both their lives. No spoilers from me. I did so enjoy reading this sweet romance with instant lust/attraction. The storyline was certainly believable and with such great characters as Paul and Lara who are the type of people that most of us would like as friends. Just good, honest people who are madly in love with one another. The passion is tastefully done and realistic and not gratuitous. This is one story that I will re-read as it gave me that ‘feel good’ factor whilst reading. The story flowed smoothly and was a real page turner. Tara Wylde and Holly Hart make a great team of authors.and I look forward to reading more books by them.

Oh what a wonderful bundle we have here to indulge in Holly hart’s gorgeous heroes! There are four books in here, Faking It, Climax, The Chase and keeping her. I have already reviewed most of these individually so I’m not going to paste and post them here. I’m going to talk about what to expect and then my favourite:- You’re going to meet [or meet again like me] some strong minded young women who want to do the best they can, who are loyal, loving, and deserve the wonderful men that they get at the end of each HEA.. The men will be protective, loyal, loving, passionate, intelligent, caring, gorgeous, handsome and that Special One for each of the heroines. There will be a HEA at the end of each story with no cheating [which I hate], no cliffhangers [thank goodness] and great storylines all cleverly penned by Holly who is one of my favourite authors. I also suspect that you’ll get the feel good factor that I get after reading one of her stories too. In The Chase, Cassie our heroine is an ex-CIA operative and for reasons that you will find out when you read this book she stood up a nerd from school at their Prom. She is decides to enter a contest where she will get $250,000 for each day that she evades capture by 22 billionaires who are after her. Carson – that ex nerd is feeling bored. He decides to take part. he has changed somewhat since high school days – and what a gorgeous stud muffin he is now! get out the iced drinks and crank up your air-con or fans and indulge in this highly entertaining romp!!
