Broken by Bruce Rodgers, Juliana Conners

  Healing With Love

This is a book by Juliana Conners who is a best Selling Author whose writing style and storylines I enjoy very much.  Bruce Rodgers is a new author to me and I can certainly say that his writing with Juliana is flowing and compelling.  This is a genre of story that I confess that I haven’t read before i.e. male/male romance simply because I have no personal knowledge of it. having said that, I thought I would try and see whether I enjoyed the story as I love reading about the following : romances, HEA, no cheating, passion and LOVE and this book has all of these and so much more.  if you’ve read any or, in my case ALL, of the Bradford Brother’s books by Juliana then you will be familiar with lance who works with Whitney.  He meets Brad who is now an ex Navy SEAL who has both physical and emotional issues which he needs to work through. Lance is there to help in any way that he can.  This is a sweet romance and I did really feel how much their love for each other grew throughout the storyline.  Some grammatical errors but I could easily ignore them as the story did capture my imagination.  The bonus epilogue was RED HOT!  I did enjoy this story and would read books by them like this again. Give it a try if you haven’t read this genre before.  I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

This is Cinderella circa 2018!  With a handsome Prince Gregory and a damsel, Ella, who has a wicked stepmother and two dire step sisters.  he is in want of a wife and he finds Ella, an American, but will she fit the role and stay?  Gregory certainly wants her and the heat between them is explosive.  Like all good fairy tales, we all want our hero and heroine to have their own HEA. Take a chance on this modern day fairy tale with a twist or two. WARNING ALERT!! This is one RED HOT, steamy read and you may need to check that your fans/air con is working and set to MAX COOL.

This is the latest steamy read by Sierra Sparks and Juliana Conners that certainly raised the temperature on my Kindle!  Rebeckah’s upbringing was very strict but on Spring Break her rich friend Brett, takes her with him and his other wealthy frat brothers.  She is determined to lose her virginity and what better way than by selling it to the highest bidder in an auction. Just hope Brett and his friends win!  She and Brett have been keeping their real feelings for one another quiet but all bets are off now.  Can any real relationship come out of this? A Fabulous Collection!

This is a fabulous collection of three stories b y Eva Luxe and Juliana Conners who are both top USA best selling authors that I really enjoy reading their stories.  In their own right, they are terrific authors but together they are unstoppable!  I strongly urge you to try this collection  as I found them all to be very entertaining and HOT! My individual reviews of each story are below:

Don’t Worry Baby: – Ugly Duckling To Swan  29 April 2018 – Hailey was what some would call a nerd in high school wearing glasses, overweight and not conventionally beautiful.  She is asked to help tutor Nick who is the hottest guy in school and a jock – who she also has a major crush on but he doesn’t even notice her. After high school he goes on to play for the Miami Sharks football team and is very successful and it is at a party of his team mates that he meets a stunning young woman .  Little does he realise that this young woman is Hailey – all grown up and a beauty for all to see. She is still insecure and doesn’t tell him who she is since he hasn’t recognised her. They go on a date and it is fantastic and the chemistry is so HOT between them that they have sex and he takes her v-card.  When she then tells him who she is, he freaks out and thinks that she is stalking him!  So she avoids him and he realises that he’s been a major fool.  All seems to be going well for them when she realises something that will change their lives forever. But, bearing in mind his reaction to finding out her real name she is scared to tell him her secret!  This is Eva Luxe and Juliana Conners continuing to be a fantastic author duo and giving us another story of the Miami Sharks football team stories.  I love these two authors on their own but writing together, they are unbeatable.  I loved Hailey and thought she was such a nice young woman who really didn’t need all the insecurities that she had.  Nick, however, was an immature and often arrogant jerk who needed to be taken down a peg or two and appreciate the good in those around him!!  By the end of the story – yes, I did like him though I still thought that Hailey could have done so much better for herself. I do encourage you to get a copy for yourself so that you can find out what Nick will do when he finds out Hailey’s secret, will they get their own HEA or are they doomed to not be together??

Hold Onto Me: A Secret Baby Romance by Juliana Conners

   Saving Each Other

If you’ve read any of Juliana Conner’s books before then you may have ‘met’ the Bradford Brothers.  They are all ex-military and each has their own story to tell and I fully encourage you to read them if you haven’t already [have a look at my other reviews on her books].  In this story we meet Juliet and Brandon. he is ex-Military and worked with some of the Bradford brothers. he suffered from PTSD when he was demobbed and so he ,moved to the mountains for solitude to help him heal.  He is living in his family cabin now and is chopping wood one day when he sees a bedraggled female looking very dishevelled as if she is going to jump off the cliff.  he races too her as quietly as he can to save her from falling. He does and she fights him but he calms her down and takes her to his cabin as it’s nearing darkness and too far out of the way. He doesn’t get much sense out of her other than her name is Juliet. This is a very emotional story of someone, not military, who suffered an ordeal so great that she too is suffering from PTSD. This story helps illustrate that anyone can suffer from it and displays some of the ways that it can manifest itself in a person as we are all different. Brandon is such a great guy who has suffered so much himself but, because of that, he is able to help Juliet so much and be so understanding towards her.  The passion between these two is palpable and way off the charts with red hot HEAT – have your fans/air con switched on to max cool please! You may need your hankies ready at some parts of the story. I particularly enjoyed the moving scene towards the end when Brandon gives his first public talk for his friends. As he gazes at Juliet sitting there, it is magical the way Juliana uses the English language to create such emotions, atmosphere and tension.  What has caused  Juliet to suffer from PTSD and will she share her nightmares with Brandon?  To enjoy this book for yourselves you need to get yourself a copy. I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

Cave Man’s Captive by Juliana Conners, Sizzling Hot Reads (Editor)

  Trapped Together

If this is your first encounter with a story by Juliana Conners then you are in for a treat as you’re going to discover so many characters in here that you will be racing to get ‘their’ stories as soon as you’ve finished this one.  We meet Elijah who is a n ex Navy SEAL who does suffer form PTSD and served with The Bradford Brothers [fantastic series that is a MUST READ!!] and how is he coping with civilian life.  So imagine the scene, Elijah is out hunting in the mountains where he now lives to avoid people, and he hears a group of people. He spies on them and sees the most stunningly beautiful woman that he has ever seen in his life and he wants to know her more.  The men in the party recognise him as their old Navy SEAL teammate, they are the Bradford Brothers and as he wants to get to know Michelle better he invites them all to his cabin.  But he wants to act on his attraction for her and as she seems equally attracted to him, he invites her to his Cave!  And they trapped it in together!!  Now that’s a walk in the woods!  can they resist each other before any rescue attempt can find them? Do they even want to be saved??  There are so many secrets that they both keep inside so maybe they have found someone they can share themselves with?? This is a fun, fast paced read by Juliana Conners who is a top 100 author.  This kept me entertained the whole way through. It was probably more interesting as I knew some of the characters that  appeared within the story but it can easily be read and enjoyed without that prior knowledge.  get yourself a copy and enjoy getting to know them. Out of Line: A Bad Boy Stepbrother Romance by Juliana Conners

  Second Chances

Taylor has been in love with her best friend’s brother, Aaron, since she was 12 years old but he just treated her like a little sister.  But on the night of her graduation he REALLY noticed her and one thing lead to another and they end up alone on the beach and he takes her v-card.  They both are shocked by how much they enjoyed it but , Aaron behaves like a real jerk and leaves her alone whilst sleeping on the beach!!!!  She doesn’t see him again for years as he goes off to college to further his football career.  His leaving and not going to the college where his Dad teaches football causes upset between the two of them – they haven’t seemed to get along with each other since Aaron’s mum died.  But now he is coming back after receiving an invitation to come to his dad and Taylor’s mum’s wedding!!  Taylor is fretting about him coming back and she hasn’t told Chelsea , her BFF, that she wanting to change majors and won’t be concentrating on cheer-leading with her in future. But Aaron has a secret that he cannot tell anyone and he keeps having secret phone calls and cuts them off whenever someone comes near!  What is going on with him?  What is he hiding?? After Taylor and he prove that the combustible chemistry between them is as hot as ever, will he stay or will he go and leave her again?? Juliana Conners is one of my favourite authors and it is no wonder that she is a top 100 author as her writing style is just so good.  The storyline is quite unique and the emotions well portrayed and lead us to remember that you’re not alone if your family has your back!  Will son and dad be able to come to an understanding so that they can be in the same room without fighting??  Will their parents find out what Taylor and Aaron have been up to and , if so, how will they react?? To find out and to enjoy the passionate scenes between these two you need to get yourself a copy of this book and I hope you will be as entertained as I was by it.  certainly a book that I will be re-reading in future!

Two Bad Brothers: An MFM Menage Romance by Sierra Sparks, Juliana Conners

   STEAM Heat!

Scarlett’s grandmother left her home to Scarlett in the town where she grew up.  Caleb and Oliver, twin brothers who were nerds in high school, are now very successful estate agents and have been sent by their awful father to purchase the property.  The thing is, is that Scarlett remembers them from high school and , oh boy, have they grown!!  These two alpha males don’t just want the property. They both want Scarlett and will do all they can to persuade her to be theirs.  This is rather overwhelming for her as she is a virgin and these two men are HOT.  Juliana Conners and Sierra Sparks have done it again and penned for us a red hot steamy menage romance that will make you switch on your fans to max cool and you won’t want to put the book down till you’ve reached the end. It is so well written by these two top 100 authors whose writing styles blend so well to create storylines that capture your imagination and give us fascinating characters that help draw you into their ‘world’.  No spoilers but Scarlett’s life is put in danger, so can Caleb and Oliver keep her safe and forever??  To find out grab yourself a copy and enjoy as much as I did.  Fabulous bonus stories too.
