What a wonderful storyline and romance by a new author to me, Kim Loraine, who has really caught my attention as an author whose books I’m going to be actively perusing in future. This is so well written with fabulous characters. It is so easy to fall for Max who is all alpha male but also protective and deeply in love with Charlotte who is his best friend’s younger sister who he had to watch her have her heart broken by a selfish jerk who didn’t love her as she should have been. When Max finally summons up the courage to tell her how he feels about her at New Year, she rocks his world when she asks a major favour of him. The chemistry between them is practically sizzling off the pages of my kindle as i read page after page of this real page turner that I just didn’t want to put down. It completely drew my attention and kept me right there till I’d finished this compulsive storyline. I look forward to reading more of Kim’s books in the very near future.
