My Favourite Of Lauren’s Books
WARNING: STEAM HEAT
This is, without a doubt, my favourite story by Lauren Landish and will be one that I will be re-reading many times in the future. It made me laugh out loud. It made me refuse to put it down due to the suspense. It was RED HOT with passion and, eventually, LOVE. It had a few twists that made the storyline so much more compelling. Zack seemed to be the arrogant typical football jock who was failing at the academic side of college when he needed extra help from a tutor but his coach wanted it kept quiet so Norma [nerd, bratty young woman with oodles of confidence , at least on the surface, and excelling at English, who works for the college paper is asked to help]. Norma only does this to help promote her journalistic hopes for the future. Zack turns up over an hour late for their first ‘date’ in the library and she is NOT impressed with him at all. This is a welcome and delightful surprise for him as he thinks she is gorgeous but shy despite being a total brat to him. SO he calls her Brat. Their banter is HOT and great fun to read. As time goers by you get to see their relationship changing as they get to know one another. if you are easily shocked – be prepared. There is also plenty of humour with these two and they were just so well suited to each other despite everything else. But someone is out to get Zack and Norma gets in the way! How will Zack react to someone hurting his Brat?? I thought the scene where Zack meets her brother, Liam, was a great piece of writing and had me laughing – especially when Liam went pale! The team were wonderful with Norma and I loved that they even had a Norma Bratty manoeuvre for on the field. I think that once you read this story, that like me you won’t want to put it down. Book 1, Satin and Pearls, was fantastic, Leather and Lace continued with Liam and Arianna and was brilliant but this book is my favourite of Lauren’s ever and I have very high hopes for Lauren’s next book!. Teacher’s Pet!!
Oh boy! I wish I’d had a maths professor like this when I was doing my maths degree – funny ones yes and ones who were perfect gentlemen and ones who were real whatsits as she says. However, Daisy is so lucky that her maths professor is gorgeous, handsome, fun, arrogant and she is absolutely in crazy lust/love with him even though he riles her too. Meanwhile, Connor loves his job and found it to be very fulfilling and rewarding till Daisy stepped into his classroom. He can’t stop thinking and lusting after her. So brilliantly written by one of my favourite authors, Lauren Landish, and her writing in this illustrates beautifully why she is a US best selling author! Great character development in this short story and as it was so good, despite that I received a reader’s copy of it, I purchased my own copy as it was just so good!
Most definitely recommended – do what I did and get your own copy so that you can re-read it in the future!

My Favourite Story by Lauren Landish – A Must Have Read

In this second chance romance, discover what happened to Aubrey and his family and see whether these two fabulous characters do get a chance at HEA. Lauren Landish has given us a tremendous story in Untamed, the ninth book of the Irresistible Bachelors Series. It would be so easy to fall in love with Aubrey and I confess that I had my hankie out. But what a moving and compelling story! It is undoubtedly my favourite story by Lauren and I strongly encourage you to get your own copy now. I can’t wait for her next book! It Was In The Stars
Madison Parker and her bed friend Tiffany, go to see a fortune teller for a laugh as much as anything and don’t get too worried about her warnings for Madison that danger is ahead! Madison is a nice young woman who loves country music and is a good friend. When she meets Scott Danger after her fortunes been told she does wonder at his name. But there is plenty of attraction between them and we actually ‘see’ them fall in love with one another which was really lovely. They seem very ‘real’ characters and at the end I did feel as if I did ‘know’ them. This was a very realistic storyline with real believable people with plenty of heat by Lauren Landish. And , yes, I did lose sleep as I couldn’t just leave a couple of chapters to sleep without knowing what happened, so I eventually finished it in the wee small hours of the morning but it was well worth it. A fabulous read and just showcases why Lauren is one of the top selling USA authors. Looking forward to reading more of her stories. Dirty Laundry (Get Dirty #2) by Lauren Landish
Trying To Keep Secrets!
Oh my! Lauren Landish has given us a real winner of a story here in this second book of the series Get Dirty – each book may be read as a standalone although part of a series. The first story was great – this one is even better and my favourite of Lauren’s books to date. Elise works as a journalist for a topical online magazine about celebrities although she does aspire to real journalism in the future. Her boss, Donnie, is an ego centric, misogynistic, creepy and slimeball editor (can you tell that I didn’t like him?) and she has two colleagues – Maggie who is a gem and then the ‘delightful’ Francesca who is Donnies’ favourite for the ‘favours’ she gives him. Anyway, Elise is out in town one day when she sees Keith Perkins, celebrity country singer who seems, on the surface, to just sing, write songs and a general good guy. No relationships. Nothing? But Elise doesn’t believe it and she gets ‘proof’ of a female in his life when he is in disguise. This is what starts the ball rolling on her meeting Keith properly and changes that alter their lives for ever. Keith is a really great guy who made a mistake years ago as a teenager but he’s done his best ever since. His sister, Sarah, is his rock and a truly amazing young woman who loves her brother and becomes very good friends with Elise. When on this assignment that Donnie really wanted Francesca to do instead of her, Elise discovers Keith’s ‘secret’ and why he keeps a low profile and is so pleasantly pleased, But emotions are now involved with her and Kieth and so they must inventive to try and create a cover story. I loved the way Keith did everything for his family and would even pay up $millions to protect his family life. The chemistry between Elise and Keith is is fireworks going off in the air and the more time they spend together the greater the heat. I truly despised Donnie and Francesca by the end and they got their just rewards! As for the epilogue…that may make you cry so have your hankies at the ready as well as your fans set to max COOL throughout the book. I hope that I’ve relayed to you my enthusiasm and love of this story as It’s one that I just couldn’t put down till I reached the end. Go out NOW and get your own copy!! Two For The price of One!
This is a brilliant set of two books by that internationally famous author, Lauren Landish. let me tell you that this is Lauren at her very best.
In Off Limits, we meet Dane who is ex military and is just coming out of prison with a dishonourable discharge. He’s most certainly down on his luck as who wants to employ an ex con? However, he hears a woman’s cries for help and he rushes to see thugs attacking a young woman. he fights them off her and, undoubtedly, saves her from severe injuries if not her life. They go to the flat and she tries to help clean his wounds that he sustained whilst grappling with her attackers. When they get chatting he reveals his past and Abby is disgusted with him. This makes any hope of a relationship very difficult. Abby is being raised by a very strict father who treats her as if she were a teenager and a step-mother who is a social climber and disgusted with Abby’s sometimes less than elegant demeanor. We also meet Shawnie who features in No Limits. How Dane and Abby can be together and discover a HEA is a tough road but well worth it. Be ready to be shocked by one big reveal – but no spoilers from me. Just enjoy!
In No Limits, we meet Rafe who is a Professor at the college where Abby and Shawnie are students. Rafe is a product of a research project to make super humans and he almost seems to be ‘perfect’. He hires Shawnie as his teaching assistant but does not, initially, know of her tragic past of being kidnapped, raped and left for dead. Both Rafe and Shawnie have such difficult pasts and I couldn’t help but feel so much for them and feel invested in them gaining happiness together. But it definitely is not an easy path as there are twists in this terrific plot that just enhance how great a story this is. They find in each other someone that they can open up to and this is the start of their passionate love story. When I say Passionate, it is deliberately with a capital P! Get your fans at the ready as it’s STEAM HEAT with these two lovers. I confess that I was perturbed when I first started reading this story, but I carried on and it was so well worth it. A fantastic story!
These two books were an absolutely pleasure to read. There is suspense, mystery, physical attacks, rape, attempted murder, lust, passion, snobbery, protectiveness, caring and, of course, love that overcomes all obstacles. Lauren writes with passion and it’s that element that, I think, makes her stories ‘come alive’. With the detailed and often slightly ‘different’ plots and characters that reach your heart so that I feel invested in their story. So well written and every book that I’ve read of hers has been a must have read and, certainly, ones that I will re-read as they are just so entertaining and characters that I love. Grab this limited addition copy whilst you can!

Come A Little Closer & Tell Me Everything…
Dirty Talk by Lauren Landish is sure to remind us all of speaking on the phone to out beloved when distance kept us apart. There is a romance where you are totally connected just by your voices and it is so intimate and why this story is so believable. Katrina has just created a number one app and has heard some things about her boyfriend that cause her serious doubts about him. Katrina’s family background isn’t the best and she does suffer from insecurities at the best of times. She starts listening to Derrik on the radio who is known as the ‘Love Talker’ as he talks about relationships and sex. She feels a connection to him and that he will listen to her so, out of character, she phones him for advice. What begins as simply talking through her issues goes far beyond that and she loves talking to him. Off air they exchange phone numbers and agree to meet. In person is so very much more than she either hoped or expected, and their connection is way off the charts and they end up spending a night of sublime passion like nothing on earth and they both know that this isn’t a one night stand. Derrik calls her his ‘Kitty Kat’ and he believes that he has met his soul mate in Kat. His family background is the complete opposite to Kat’s and he is falling in love with her and knows it. Kat gets scared as her trust issues with men aren’t good at any time and with this being so new, can Kat trust Derrik?? Lauren has given us this great story and it was so easy to love Derrik and why he fell for Kat. The dialogue between them on the phone and radio felt so much more than just a radio call in chat and as they become more acquainted with each other it becomes so much more intimate, flirty and full of sexual innuendo enough to make panties melt! So have your fans at the reader dear readers as this is one HOT and dirty talking talk show host off the radio. Now looking forward to Lauren’s next book as this one was well worth the wait.

Baby Daddy by Lauren Landish
He’ll Do Anything To make Her His
Lauren Landish is a terrific new author that I just ‘discovered’ this year but the more that I read by her, the more I look forward to her next book. This is probably the sweetest story yet that I’ve read by her and it was simply lovely. The story flowed smoothly and we meet up again with Brad whom we met in Motorhead. If you haven’t read any of her books before, please don’t worry as these can all be read as standalones. if you can though, I’d get the set and simply read one after the other as they are so entertaining and well written with believable storylines and terrific 3-dimensional characters. We meet Rose who is running her own successful business and is ready to start the next stage in her life of becoming a mum as her biological clock is ticking as she has no boyfriend. her friend Brad is going to help her choose a sperm donor but in the meantime she’s going to get all dressed up and go to the one bar in town where gorgeous hunky men hang out. It is there that she meets Nic who is VP where he works in sales and so he does a lot of travelling. They have an instant attraction and talk all night but passion takes over and they spend one very HOT and steamy night together that they will both remember for the rest of their lives. he reluctantly has to leave the next day due to work but wants to see her again. As soon as he leaves she misses him and he misses her and he can’t keep his mind on his work longing to be with her. Time moves along and they don’t get to see each other to both their disappointments but then Rose realises something that will change her life forever. When Nic goes out of his way to return and spend time with Rose she is shocked! Will she tell him who is the father of her child? he doesn’t care, as all he wants is her and he will do anything to make her his. So romantic in many ways and beautifully penned by Lauren. This is one sweet book that I will be wanting to re-read as its so good. I’m now looking forward to her next book and I wonder who will be the next to find love!! At the end of the book you will see excerpts of Motorhead, Off Limits and Mr Fixit and a preview of her next book.
