Secrets!!
This is the story of Hope and Xendar. She has been kidnapped by aliens and they are making out to another race that she is their princess. What is more she is going to be married to Xendar who is a prince to help keep the peace between the two races. Yes, there are attracted to one another instantly but there is no “wham, bam, thank you ma’am” in it thank goodness! Instead they get to know one another at a believable pace, and things happen at a natural rate. Very convenient that they could all understand each other and there was not really much Science in the sci-fi novel. Leslie Chase has a nice flowing writing style that I enjoy and I did like both Hope and Xendar. There were some aspects of the story that made me laugh which was an added bonus for me. This was a great read and I look forward to reading more of Leslie’s sci-fi stories. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
