Accidental Princess: A Hidden Kingdom Novel by Lexi Whitlow

  A Fabulous New Series – A Must Have Read

This is the first book in The Hidden Kingdom Series by Lexi Whitlow who is one of the USA’s best selling authors. This is not your typical prince meets a young woman and they fall in love romance.  As Lexi Whitlow is the author, you should really expect so much more from her as she is just such a great writer.  This is the story of Andreas [a prince] and Freya [an American ‘commoner’ who meet whilst on holiday in Ibiza [well say no more as we ALL know what goes on there – sun, fun and s@x].  He is incognito with his older brother Caelan [also a prince and heir to the throne] and they are enjoying renting a villa and having fun in the sun.  Andreas notices Freya and is immediately attracted to her.  She is with her best friend, Ally, celebrating dumping her rotten cheating ex boyfriend.  The four young people get on very well with Caelan and Ally arguing about European politics the whole time but Andreas and Freya are enjoying each other. One night at a nightclub there is a dance competition with a wedding on the beach as a prize. They’ve both been drinking and don’t think it’s real so they enter and WIN!!  They go through the ceremony and the next thing they realise is that it’s a real marriage and they can’t get out of it until they’ve lived together for six months and his parents have already arranged a political marriage for him anyway!  Yikes!  There is so much more going on but I really don’t want to spoil it for you.  This is my favourite story by Lexi to date.  Such great characters [is Caelan after Ally??  Is that going to be the next story??] and it was so very easy to like them as they were believable and genuinely ‘nice’ and that’s in a very good way. Plus the heat between Freya and Andreas is not to be ignored and they are just so good together. But I do wish I could have been there in the room when he told her that he was a Prince!  I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.  MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED – A Must Have Read !!  I’m really looking forward to the rest of this series.

  Will She Forgive Him?

Lexi Whitlow is an exceptional author and so, of course, one of the USA’s top best selling authors.  In this book, Lexi has composed a delicious storyline for us that is most definitely unique! Our heroine, Sarah, was Amish born and bred but it wasn’t for her and so she rebelled, left and set up her own business with three friends.  PinkBook is an online community for women.  |When Sarah’s parents come to visit she realises that she needs help and quick – she needs a fake fiancée and she finds just the man to play the part at a bar.  he says his name is Ben and what she doesn’t know is that his name is Justin, he’s a billionaire and doesn’t do relationships. The meeting goes so well and the chemistry between them is combustible.  But how will Sarah feel when she discovers all his lies? Will they stand a chance of a real relationship?  Wonderful characters that are so lifelike that it is almost as if they are ‘real’ and the writing flowed so well that I just couldn’t put the story down.  It’s so good that I will be re-reading this story in the future.  Get yourself a copy and enjoy!  I look forward to reading Lexi’s next book. I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. Attraction between Jeb and Maddie develop quickly and things are going so well when…  Nope no spoilers form me. Let’s just say that this is so much more than I expected and I LOVED this storyline from Lexi Whitlow. This story perfectly illustrates why she is one of the USA’s top best selling authors. Fantastic characters and a storyline that is realistic and no cheating or cliffhanger to top it off.  I didn’t put this down till I’d read it all as it was so compelling.  I cannot give it too much praise.   I received a reader’s copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

King Size: A Royal Bad Boy Romance by Lexi Whitlow

Owen is a Prince but he is only the ‘Spare’ as his older brother is the Heir apparent. Owen is a playboy prince with only one night stands – nothing ever serious and no relationships at all.  But then he uses an APP and finds Norah who is an artist but unlike any he has met before.  Their one night stand is amazing and beyond anything that either had anticipated.But he has duties and she gets bad news from home. So they don’t expect to see each other again. but fate has it’s own agenda and they do meet at a party on a yacht.  These two are not serious, they both enjoy life and have fun whilst also indulging in the passion between them that is off the charts.  There comes a situation where Owen wants more time with her and she needs to help her family so he proposes the perfect solution – she become his fake fiancée.  There is a deranged ex to contend with and royal duties as well as their feelings for each other which they haven’t declared as yet.  As the story progresses you can see how their feelings are developing and when Norah’s life is in jeopardy, Owen knows that he can’t live with out so he must save her.  Lexi Whitlow has given us a real treat of a suspenseful, romantics story  with a few twists that are so well written that my imagination was captured at the beginning and I was kept engrossed within the story right to the end.  I have read most of Lexi’s stories and this has got to be amongst her best.  With great characters [loved Owen and Norah and I did not like Eric at all] and a terrific storyline to make a fantastic entertaining read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. But I purchased my own copy and am about to start reading the bonus story Rancher’s Second Chance having read the deleted scene already.

Teacher’s Virgin: An Older Man Younger Woman Romance Kindle Edition by Lexi Whitlow

When I see the name Lexi Whitlow, I know that I’m in for a great read with plenty of passion and great characters. This book fits in that description beautifully. Chloe is a college student and Hayes is her professor as well as being her dad’s best friend – awkward!! But the chemistry sizzles between them and although they both know that any relationship between them is taboo and could lead to him losing his job and her being kicked out of school – they know they cannot deny how they feel. I was really pleased when I finished reading this which I thoroughly enjoyed to realise that the bonus story was Guarding Her and what a bonus it was!! If you haven’t got yourself a copy yet, like I did, then please do so and enjoy!!

   The SEAL Gets His Woman!!

What an incredible story by Lexi Whitlow!  I shouldn’t be surprised that it’s brilliant as Lexi consistently writes romantic stories that make me swoon.  In this one we meet gates who is in the SEALs and has been asked to do a photoshoot for a calendar and the photographer is Winter. She is stunningly beautiful with curves in all the right places and the attraction is mutual so he persuades her to go to dinner with him as he is shipping out the next day. Winter agrees as she has difficulty with her awful father who is a Hollywood movie producer who keeps a very short leash on her. They have an amazing time and can’t believe how well suited they are and they end up spending a night full of red hot, passionate sex and love making.  he wants her to spend the day with him but she leaves him and a note. Three years later he is out of the SEALs and is now a movie star in one of her father’s films. When they have a chance encounter Gates knows that this time he won’t let her slip away and he is going to make her HIS!!!  Will her father make trouble for Gates?  Will Winter have moved on from when she last saw him?  has the sizzling passion between them kept burning?  I loved gates and Winter and thought they were so good together 🙂  As for her father!!  he is a vile tyrant that I just didn’t like at all. Lexi knows exactly how to draw us into her stories which are fast paced and I usually read them right through in one go as I can’t bear to put them down till I read the wonderful conclusion. This book was no different except I think it’s my favourite of her books that I’ve read [and I have read all of her books available via Amazon.co.uk].  I’m now looking forward to reading her next romantic adventure and thoroughly recommend that you get yourself a copy too and enjoy! I received a reader’s copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

 Outstanding Story!!!!!!

Fox is a multi billionaire who is hiding ‘off-grid’ in the mountains after he discovered that his online currency was being misused and he is trying to sort out what was happening and who was behind it all whilst he avoids the FBI, Russian mobsters and other groups that he does not want any dealings with.  However, he knows that he has been discovered when one of the bear traps that he has set to warn him of intruders.  And what an intruder he has caught in his trap – a very curvy, feisty and absolutely gorgeous young woman called Zee [aka Zelda] who is an ambitious journalist who is out to find Fox, and she is also bleeding badly so he carries her to his secret cabin to treat her injuries.  But his appearance is not what she was expecting to say the least.  Her discovery of him means he must speed up his investigations to prove his innocence.  The attraction between the two of them cannot be denied and even though they are sharing a bed they resist temptation until they can’t keep their hands off each other.  The steamy scenes are written with passion and I did worry that my kindle might overheat! So please take any necessary checks 😉  This story is bang on up to date with the technology being used today and I could easily see this as a headline in real life as it is certainly possible.  The fact of it’s reality makes it so much more powerful as a storyline and Lexi Whitlow should be commended for penning this topical story.  Superbly written and I can just imagine which actor and actress could play the two main roles in a film of the book!  This a real MUST HAVE READ as it’s spot on with the online currency, a billionaire living off grid to ‘hide’ whilst he uncovers the fraudulent goings on and proves himself innocent all whilst not letting the FBI, Russian mobsters and other nefarious characters are out to get him.  Zee as the love interest was just perfect and the right choice for a heroine to Fox’s hero and love interest. 007 could learn some moves off him for the bedroom scenes 😉 As you may have concluded, I LOVE this story and this is certainly the best story that Lexi has written [I’ve read all her stories that are available online to the UK market] and I enjoyed all her other books too.  This is a book that I will be re-reading in the future as it is magnificent!

Rancher Daddy: A Single Dad & Nanny Romance by Lexi Whitlow

  From Heartache to Love Everlasting

Just by looking at the blurb you may think that you’ve read so many with a similar storyline that it’s not worth bothering to read. DON’T. You NEED to read this story as Lexi Whitlow is an exceptional author and she doesn’t just follow the crowd with her stories. She makes them stand out and are so good, that like me, you will be hooked on reading her stories in future as they are so well written. We meet Camden, Cam, who is a single dad bringing up his lovely 5 year old daughter,Emma, who was very ill when she was born and her mother left her with him and the marriage as she wanted no part of a sickly child and a husband who worked long hours to keep his family safe and well. Cam sat with Emma whilst she had to go through so many surgical procedures and she is now healthy and a happy child. His ranch, The Kicking Horse Ranch, is renowned for the quality of his horses in Montana. he has tried employing nannies form the local community but they all want him to marry them and he is just not interested in them that way at all so he decides to advertise further afield. In doing this he meets Grace who has broken up with her childhood friend/boyfriend as he expected her to move with his job and him and she just didn’t feel enough for him to commit to that. So she applies for the job and falls in love with Emma instantly. The dialogue between Cam and Grace is witty, humourous, and sensuous all leading to building up the heat in their attraction for one another. Her empathy for what cam and Emma went through as she was treated is very close to Grace as her brother had similar cardiac treatments but his weren’t successful. She loves the ;large family she now works for and feels as if she is home for the first time in her life since her brother died. This is one special love story and I read it right through in one go and was well worth losing sleep for it. I look forward to Lexi’s next story. I  bought the book as you get a copy of Teacher’s Virgin included as a bonus and that is a terrific steamy read that I thoroughly enjoyed too.

DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED.
