Charlie’s Christmas Surprise

This is a short paranormal story by the terrific author Miranda Bailey. Whilst it is a short fast paced read, let me assure you that I found it well worth the time to read. It is endearing, sweet, with a feisty heroine that is going to ‘shock’ her family and become the woman that she wants to be and she’s justed spotted the man to help her find herself!! A really fun read! I look forward to reading more of this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Definitely recommended

Another excellent paranormal story by the brilliant author, Miranda bailey, This was a real treat for me to read as it features my favourite of all the paranormal genre – bear shifters! With plenty of mystery, secrets, love and twists that will keep you on the edge of your seats and coming back for more! I can’t wait for her next book. Miranda Bailey writes about bear shifters with believability and plenty of red hot sizzling scenes. In this book we meet fell who is trying to keep away from love and the human race when he finds Sasha on his doorstep badly injured. When she wakes up she has no idea how she got there nor how she got injured. Fell really doesn’t want to have a female in his home as he has a major secret and hasn’t got any time for relationships. But when he meets her, he realises that fate has played a trick on him as she is his mate.. His bear is ecstatic as he never thought he’d find her. But he must discover who did this to her and make sure that she is safe for the rest of her life. There is some violence in this book so please be aware of that before buying this book if you don’t like reading that sort of thing. There is sizzling chemistry between Fell and Sasha that provides plenty of heat so be ready to switch on your fans/air con to max cool and enjoy the story. This is a fun and entertaining read and I loved the way Sasha and Fell interacted and the ending was ‘just right’ for me. I am a fan of this genre of books and Miranda’s stories and I look forward to her next book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Secrets by Miranda Bailey

Daniel & Alyana Belong Together

I have read a significant number of stories by Miranda Bailey and was lookin forward to reading her latest book here. I really enjoyed the relationship between Daniel and Alyana which was full of love and raw emotion and they were so well suited. For the life of me, I just couldn’t understand why Anastasia was even in the book as she added nothing towards this being a good read. If anything, when she came back and said she’d give Daniel a divorce and then immediately started on Alyana for a relationship ! So because of the redundant Anastasia, I can only give this three stars. This is, however, just my opinion and you may love the story and, If you get your own copy, you’ll be able to find out if Daniel and Alyana get their HEA, whether Daniel will become a vampire. However, that will not stop me looking eagerly to reading Miranda’s next story as I’ve enjoyed her other books so very much. The picture on the front cover shows Daniel and Alyana and that is who the book should have just been about in my opinion.

I confess that I became addicted to this series in Wruin Brothers of the Dark Places. A truly terrific adventure of a story that caught me at the first page and kept me enthralled till the last. This second book is just as good, even if it is a little shorter. In this book we meet Endre who is waiting for his mate. He knew when she was born and that she hasn’t had an easy life and he is going to have to help her soon. Regardless of the circumstances he just wants to be with her. Thyra is his mate and she has been evading her ex who is stalking her and she has been travelling the world in her yacht. It is in the Atlantic that they finally meet and Endre begins to finally feel really at peace with them together. In this world of dragon shifters comes Thyra who is human and she comes just when things in the supernatural world are getting rough. But she has Endre to keep her safe and to love her. Miranda bailey is a terrific author and this is the second book by her that I’ve really loved reading. She writes with passion and I love her writing style with giving enough details to ‘wet your appetite’. There is no cliff hanger at the end of this book – thank goodness as I hate them. This could be read as a standalone but why would you? As by reading book 1 first you get to meet again characters in the second book and they are developing. I am so looking forward to book 3!
